I Hate It
Started using the free version
* Very little options (of course)!
*Spent the $7 for a weeks subscription - literally no difference.
Oh wait, yes there was - there are *more* options for more features to pay for in order to use.
*Poor wording for directions. It asks you what your song is about so you put in 1-3 words and that ends up being the lyrics! Oh, well, just change the lyrics right? NOPE! You can’t change the lyrics or edit them in any way. - you’re STUCK! So you better make sure before you paste them that your lyrics are exactly how you want them.
You go to the next phase and then it asks you to paste your lyrics with this other option that says ‘Lyrics’. Sound confusing? YUP it is!! So you paste the lyrics in there, you save it and then it starts generating your song you have NO IDEA what type of sound it’s going to have whether it’s a male or female singer what type of voice - What type of genre, fast, slow - - NOTHING.
Then, once it’s done generating, it shows in the title the words you put to answer their question “describe your song”
So then you have to go in and you’re able to edit the title thank God!
Here are the only options for the genre.
1. R & B About Singapore.
2. Instrumental relax Japanese & Lofi
3. Male rap with drill trap beat

Premium Error!
34,99 € für ein Jahresabo bezahlt – und plötzlich ausgesperrt.
Eine Woche lang hat die App problemlos funktioniert. Heute wurde ich ohne Vorwarnung automatisch ausgeloggt. Seitdem ist keine Anmeldung mehr möglich – weder mit Apple, noch mit Google oder E-Mail. Stattdessen erscheint jedes Mal nur die Meldung:
„Internal server error“.
Das Beste daran: Der App-Support leitet auf die Website weiter – dort funktioniert der Login ebenfalls nicht. Man bezahlt für ein Premium-Abonnement und kann den Service überhaupt nicht mehr nutzen.
Mein Apple-Abonnement ist aktiv und gültig bis 01.07.2027. Das Problem liegt also eindeutig nicht am Abo oder am Gerät, sondern an der Server- bzw. Login-Infrastruktur von MusicGPT.
Eine Premium-App sollte zuverlässig funktionieren. Wenn selbst der Support nicht erreichbar ist, weil auch die Website betroffen ist, hinterlässt das einen äußerst unprofessionellen Eindruck.
Schade, denn die App selbst ist eigentlich gut. Aber ein bezahlter Dienst, in den man sich plötzlich nicht mehr einloggen kann, ist inakzeptabel.

Massive Preisunterschiede
Ich gebe nur drei Sterne da die Preispolitik nicht nachvollziehbar und irreführend ist.
In der Web Version gibt es nur zwei Preise
Plus oder Pro
Monatlich und jährlich
In der App gibt es ganz andere Zahlungsangebote. Also schloss ich ein Plus Abo für ein Jahr ab für 34,99€. Dies wurde abgebucht. Doch es hatte keinen Effekt. Weder in der App noch in der WebVersion. Ich habe nun 35€ bezahlt und habe weiterhin die Kostenlose Version und kann nicht mehr machen.
Update:
Support hat sich direkt gemeldet. Am nächsten Tag war alles geregelt! Was das Problem war ist nicht ganz ersichtlich- ich glaube es lag an der „mit Apple anmelden“ Funktion.
Daher nun 5 Sterne
