MusicSketch
Easy to write down parts for the Sax player in my praise and worship group.
Transposing is a breeze. Adding chords, bass and drums gives great reference to written fills.
Highly recommend.

Best Music App Out there
Must download if you are a musician, cant believe this is free!
amazing tool!
this is a great tool to learn to read, write, and listen to your creations with. i can't believe it is free. it's above my head at the moment, but im trumping to learn and even my kid is messing around with this. thank you for the wonderful app.
I’m a beginner - NOT a composer - and this is perfect
As a committed beginner, I’m thankful that there are SO many online tools to help me learn. Maybe too many? What I’ve found is that for many of the things I’m trying to learn, MusicSketch is literally the only tool that I can use to illuminate those “dark corners”…I’ve had a dozen “lightbulb moments” that I simply couldn’t understand without MusicSketch - my piano teacher tried everything to communicate, for example, the difference between beat and rhythm when learning boogie woogie. No “aha” moments and I thought that, well it was just beyond me. It would stay in the “mystery” area reserved for prodigies and professionals.
Then he wrote out four measures for me on MusicSketch and boom - the light went on. It’s a priceless tool the features of which I can’t find anywhere else. Easy as pie to use. Best “lightbulb” app I’ve found in five years..

Amplifying Creativity
What I love about this app is its functionality. When I’m done with a song, I can instantaneously export it to multiple modalities :
whether live audio, a guitar chart, or a Music Sketch archive.
Ultimately, it becomes something tangible. The flexibility of Music Sketch simplifies my process and amplifies my creation.

Oh my goodness. This is an amazing app!!! I can’t believe I can write melody lines, bass lines, add chords to lyrics and all on my iPhone or iPad. And the instruments are awesome. Way to go and thank you for making this free with no upsells or ads.

Super Impressed!
I stumbled on this app today while searching for a simple means of creating small riffs for keyboard. This is the easiest, most intuitive app of all that I’ve tried. How is this free?!

The music app we needed
What an incredible app. What a great tool for song writers. It’s free and easy to use. It was the app I needed to be able to create on the go and hear my thoughts in real time. It’s easy and intuitive. Nothing like this is on the market, it’s not even in the same ball park as apple notes. Would highly recommend for anyone in the music industry!!

Awesome Instrument Sounds
I love the vast instrument library and its sound quality. Even better, I can export my songs as midi and have my song sketches shown up as individual tracks in GarageBand and LogicPro!
Simple & Easy
I love the addition of the new Chords & Lyrics module. This is like having Apple Notes for music!
Love music
Wow! There is nothing like this for songwriters who want to start and work on a song with friends. And it’s free.
Perfect for when inspiration hits!
This rules and I love to see an actually free app that someone made out of passion. It is perfect for waking up with a song in your head and jotting it down. Only two things I would like to see/couldn't figure out
1. Use the Audio Mixer while playing the piece
2. Have Loop default to looping the entire piece
Thanks to whoever did this! I love it!
