From the long time FileBrowser user
Hello, the reason for trying this app is, FileBrowser does not support gapless playback. FileBrowser has been served me for long time in various purpose and music playback was the one of them. Experiencing the solid UI and stability of FileBroswer, I decided to try the MusicStreamer from the same company.
Except the fact that it supports gapless playback and playlists, UI is not even close to the FileBrowser. Too small UI elements and texts even with the bigger text option. Too many things on one page and no flexibility. No choice for the folder driven list option.
I am willing to pay more for File Browser Pro with gapless playback and playlists function. Extend the function of the FileBrowser please.

Fantastic app
This app is fantastic, even the free version! It’s very useful to listen to the music from flash drive to iPad Pro M2 2022. You also can stream your favorites songs to an AirPlay speaker, such as JBL Authentic 300. Thanks to the developers!
amazing potential
the file handling is perfect as expected, connectivity also stands out including chromecast

ALMOST: when i open filter, genres are displayed out of screen
iphone 14, when i open filter, genres are displayed out of screen?? lol seriously? maybe its because my iphone is...old? Remember when coders created softwares, and tested them before selling em, not selling beta incomplete versions? "hey, i make pies for a living, heres your pplate and some apples, the dough will come later in an update." (then you get the dough. uncooked)

Do not use
I utilized this app to play music from my network drive. My drive ended up being hacked and hostedby someone named Nicholas. Since I have my network secured, the only way to the drive was through the link with this software. Luckily I had a backup.
Not connecting to network computers
Cannot connect to any smb/cifs computers on the local network. Zero stars.

Je commente très rarement une application qu’elle soit bonne ou moins bonne, mais cette fois, celle-ci dépasse toutes mes attentes. Tout ce que vous avez besoin ou même pensez avoir besoin est là. La présentation est toute à fait intuitive et réussie. Toute ma musique est sur une clé de 128GB attachée au port USB du router wifi. MusicStreamer me donne un accès local à toute ma musique de façon ultra facile et rapide. La cerise sur le gâteau, l’application est très petite et ne prend qu’une infime partie de la mémoire de mon iPhone et après plusieurs mois d’utilisation, je n’ai toujours pas trouvé une seule chose qui ne soit pas fonctionnelle à 100%.

Poor support for .WAV,.FLAC, .APE, .CUE ?
Nice program but something does not work with some kind of files. I have a songs.ape and songs.cue on a share. The .ape contains several songs, detail is in .cue, after the scan I see it in my list but it’s seen as a single song of 32 minutes. Did I something wrong it the program does not parse .cue files ? The same happens with .flac files Also, I have a .wav in SACD DTS 5.1 and I just hear noise (hiss). The file is instead played correctly bye VLC

Won't open
Used to use this for my music collection, but now won't even open
Unintuitive
I was looking for a half decent media player for my iPhone. Thought I would try this and purchase the full version once I saw it worked. I can load my library but find this app to be the most unintuitive product and complicated to set up and use. Too many things to click on with odd symbols and little menus. The colours of yellow and black are abysmal and the text difficult to read. It might be technically good and I’m no since but I’m afraid it’s not for me.

Sounds great
This app sounds like everything I need! But it can’t find any computers or my NAS (where my music is located) on my network. There is no way to contact anyone to find out why……. I use Plex, FileBrowserGO etc without issue but this app can’t find any thing.

Von dem exzellenten Filebrowser ist diese App sehr weit entfernt. Es gibt einige nicht befriedigende Dinge:
- Die Verwendung eines Ordners der Dateien-App (bzw. des FileBrowsers) zur Ablage der Titel ist nicht möglich.
- Die App nutzt zwingend den Darkmode.
- Die Schriftgröße ist zu klein und kaum änderbar.
- Die Oberflächengestaltung ist besonders auf dem iPad wirklich chaotisch.
- Das Kill-Kriterium ist aber das Fehlen von Apple-Carplay. Der CarMode ist das nicht, wie man zuerst denken mag.
Sehr positiv bleibt der Verzicht auf die Datensammelei. Wenn wenigsten einige der Kritikpunkte verbessert werden, komme ich gern zurück.

Das Programm zeigt nicht den Albumtitel, sondern den Dateinamen. Ansonsten ok. Optisch etwas überladen, dafür alles gleichzeitig im Blick - Geschmacksache

Whenever I go to open the app, it just takes me back to the home screen

after contacting dev and receiving that instruction it works flawlessly.
