Not very useful nor ground breaking in functionality

20 Nov 2027: I saw this on Raven and decided to give it a try. It isn’t tremendously useful and is pretty sub-par with other player applications.

It cannot auto scan and add your music library so it is all strictly manual adds and that is pretty arduous if you have a large library. It isn’t really much better than Apple’s Music app.

It shows the albums; but, does not list the individual tracks. There isn’t by play list functionality so one cannot group individual songs together.

Honestly, this is a pretty substandard iOS / iPadOS app. I would not recommend this to anyone. You are better off sticking with the Apple Music app.

Response from developer

I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience with the app. I'm not sure what Raven is or how the app was described there, but it seems you had higher expectations. This app is meant to be a simple fix to the bug some users (including myself) experience with the Apple Music app where albums are randomly unfavorited. You're right that it doesn't have the feature set of a full blown music player, but as a solo developer, it wasn't my intention to replace the Apple Music app, but rather to supplement it. Thanks for the recommendation to add auto-scan though, that's a feature I'd like to build in soon.
