v5.0.0 Choose what each role can use, and whose data it manages [Role permissions] - The president and vice president can now choose which features each role can use — dues for the treasurer only, the member list for the secretary only, and so on. Set it from My Page > "Role permissions". - If you set nothing, every officer keeps using every feature exactly as before. Nothing changes for how you use the app today. - The president can always use every feature, so you cannot lock yourself out by mistake. - Only the president and vice president can change someone's role. A promotion now takes effect only once the nominated person accepts it in the app. [Management scope] - Each role can be set to manage either the whole community or only its own group — so a team leader can look after their own team, and a block leader their own block. - The scope applies to the member list, dues, duty rosters, circulars, watch and life events. - My Page > "Rename roles" now shows what each role can currently do, so you can check at a glance who has been given what. - How to set it up is explained in My Page > Usage Guide, under "Role permissions" and "Management scope". [Improvements] - The app starts faster: the home screen now loads far less data. - Unread markers are more consistent. Circulars and assemblies clear once you have seen them; polls and duty rosters stay until you have acted on them. - Fixed unread counts in one community being cleared when you opened another. - Polls can now be edited after they are created, and members can change their answer. - Fixed circulars containing a table failing to post from the PC editor. Templates that include a table can now be used. - Circulars written in the PC editor can now be corrected afterwards. - Fixed group deletions not being saved. - BMP images can now be stored in the document archive. - If a photo or file fails to upload because of the connection, the app now retries automatically. Your input and attachments are kept so you can send again. - Member phone numbers are now shown to officers who manage the member list (previously a defect prevented them from being displayed at all). - Documents in the archive can now be published to regular members one by one. - Roles and features you don't use can be hidden. Use My Page > "Choose features" to keep unused features off the home screen. [Security] - Strengthened attachment handling so documents containing hidden macros are not accepted. - Reviewed the permission model and fixed operations that should not have been possible.
