What's New in Mutamir

1.6.1

October 26, 2026

Iqama time • The prayer-times screen shows the iqama time under each prayer, and the next-prayer card counts down to the iqama after the adhan. • Durations follow the Ministry of Islamic Affairs: Fajr 25 minutes, Maghrib 10, the others 20; in Ramadan, Fajr and Isha 15. No iqama is shown for Friday Dhuhr. • Set your own duration for each prayer in Settings; the iqama alert can now follow the ministry's times. • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show the iqama too: from the adhan until the iqama they show that prayer's iqama time with a countdown, and the large widgets add an iqama column. Official Umm al-Qura times, always • The official Umm al-Qura table is now built into the app for every city in the Kingdom through 2045, so times and athan are on the official minute from the first launch, even offline. • Outside the Kingdom, the app downloads the official Umm al-Qura table for your location once and then works offline. • With "Use my location" on, times now come from the official Umm al-Qura table for your own position (to about 110 m), not the nearest city. Easier to use • A new install opens in your phone's language, and follows its light or dark appearance until you choose. • Dates and Sa'i instructions now appear in the app's language. • Every button has a VoiceOver label, light-theme text is easier to read, and every screen works at the largest text sizes. • A new recording of Sheikh Mohammed Qassas's athan. • Corrected the wording of some adhkar and the numbers of several hadith references. Privacy • The qibla is computed on your phone, and prayer-time requests send a rounded location (about 110 m), never your exact position. Fixes • After Isha, the countdown and progress bar use tomorrow's correct Fajr. • Widgets show the right times all week and follow your city's date, the medium Prayer Times widget no longer cuts off Isha, and every widget label follows the app's language. • Finishing the introduction is instant, and Umrah progress survives a damaged saved value. • Notifications stay in the app's language after it restarts. • The voluntary Tawaf counter keeps its round when you leave the screen or the app closes, ignores an accidental double tap, and the seventh round can be undone.
