A minimal camera for photos and videos.
MUTE. keeps only the controls needed to capture, focus, adjust exposure, switch cameras, turn on the torch, use grids, choose aspect ratio, and switch between photo and video.
— Capture
Photos support 4:3, 16:9, and 1:1 aspect ratios, composition grids, and exposure compensation. Videos are recorded as standard H.264 + AAC files in 1080p or 4K.
— Privacy indicators are respected
The camera-in-use indicator (the green dot) is always visible while shooting. The recording indicator shows during video. Every privacy indicator iOS provides is kept intact by design.
— Minimal interface
Shutter, focus, exposure, flip, torch, grid, aspect, mode toggle. That's it. No settings tab. No hidden menus. No decoration.
— No ads, no purchases, no tracking
Photos and videos stay only in your Photo Library on this device. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server.
