Pure garbage don’t buy

App is no good for live sound. Does not continuously run on iOS. Does not show frequencies. Just a pretty display.

Response from developer

Thanks for the honest feedback — we hear you. We’re happy to let you know that the latest version of Muzz addresses every point you raised: 1. Live sound: real-time audio processing is now fully supported. 2. Continuous background running: the app now stays active on iOS without interruption 3. Frequency display: a full spectrum/frequency view has been added We’d love for you to give it another try and update your review. If you run into anything, reach out to us directly through the app — we’re committed to making Muzz the best audio spectrum tool on iOS.

pointless

what good is a bar graph with out labels?
I have no clue the db. range nor the frequincies that are displayed... how can i analyze anything if i dont know what im looking at. Yes there is a brief discription in the info section 32h to 8k so i have to figure out the freq layout to scale, serioulsy! Pointless without db levels and the frequencies labeled across the bottom. and side like a normal graph. I would like a refund.

Microphone doesn’t work when using car play

Is there a way to allow the sound to be analyzed while using car play? It just pauses the sound when the microphone is unmuted.

Response from developer

Fixed in version 1.0.7 which is released soon. The issue was that activating the microphone was taking exclusive control of the audio session and cutting off CarPlay. We've updated the audio session to use mix mode, so CarPlay keeps playing while the mic captures and analyzes the live sound simultaneously. Give it a try on your next drive.

Laggy.

I was hoping this was going to be like the visualizer that came with Windows Media Player back in the day, but It's doesn't respond to the music like you'd expect. The app itself also keeps freezing and I have to restart it to get it to play anything. Dont waste your time or money

app is junk

Can't actually use app because nothing is labelled

BIG Help!

Thank you so much for the development of this app.

I purchased this app to assess the quality of my 🎶 files used for djing Conscious Dances, in the San Francisco Bay Area. I started out years ago with lots of MP3's but have since been buying higher quality files. It’s been super helpful to sort out the good the bad and the ugly songs in terms of their qualtiy, etc. ;o).

This app would be far more useful if the song scroll slider could be manually moved (like in all music players, etc.). Sometimes I need to skip to the more firey part of the song for assessment, for example.

Thank you for considering this request!

Works well

This app works well on my MacMini M1 2020, OS Ventura 13.1.
It would be more useful if musical note names with octave numbers (e.g. C1 etc to B8) were displayed on x-axis on more spectrum views, and perhaps also an indication of units on y-axis.
