What's New in MVIII

1.5.2

August 31, 2026

The generator listens when you change your workout. Add a movement to a session, and it comes back on the days it belongs on, without you adding it again every week. Take one out twice, and you get asked once whether to stop programming it. Nothing leaves your training because a counter reached two. Movements you skipped stay skipped. If you told the app to stop programming something, the workouts written for you now honor it. They did not before, which meant the tier paying for written-for-you workouts was the tier getting its skipped movements handed back. The muscle figure follows the session on the sheet. Drop the only pressing movement and the chest goes dark. Add a curl and the biceps light up. Your facial scan is a report, not a list. It opens on the one change with the most visible return and ranks everything under it. Eleven areas instead of six. Every tip says whether it shows in days, weeks, or months. Still no score, and still nothing rating your face against anybody. Coach 8 stopped asking why you missed. Thirty-six studies say a person talking about why they are not doing something predicts them not doing it, while talking about doing it predicts nothing on its own. So the most sympathetic question in coaching is the one that works against you. It asks what you want to be able to do, and what the next session is. Cardio counts for something. Runs and walks measure themselves. Turn on GPS and MVIII counts the distance while you go, keeps counting with the screen off, and starts looking for you before you set off so a short walk is measured from the first step. Your route stays on your phone and is never uploaded. Log what the machine was set to: incline, resistance, watts. A minute on the bike used to log the same flat out or freewheeling, so there was nothing to beat. Log a walk or a run whenever you did one. It does not have to be on your plan to count. And if you told us you are a beginner, a walk is now a session, where your bodyweight cardio used to be sprints and burpees. Your training reaches Health as it was. A walk is arriving as strength training. A walk is a walk now, a run is a run, a ruck is a hike. Sessions logged in another app count here too, and calories are priced from a published value for that exact activity rather than the label the session carried. Coach 8 speaks first, about your week and nobody else's, and out loud in real recorded speech. Tap what it says, and your answer will already be started. Reminders name the session rather than announce that one exists. There is an evening one for a day with no food logged, and it never arrives on a day there is. You get asked about all of it once, after a workout. The camera is on every screen, behind the mark in the corner. Shoot your day, the session you just finished, or your food log. Stillness: a timer for sitting still and doing nothing else, ten seconds longer every time. Thirty seconds is harder than it sounds. You decide how fast you lose weight. The app used to cap your cut and quietly work your calories out at the cap. It now shows what the research supports for someone your size and uses the number you picked, never below 1,400 a day. Every number has its paper. Ten published specifications, every prescription graded, and the strongest entries are the ones that deflate something. Also: personal records kept as they happen, and your goal announced on the set that got you there.

Get this app!!!

I absolutely love this workout app! It’s incredibly informative, and the face analysis feature is amazing. The facial workouts have really helped me understand how to improve and tone my face. I also love the postpartum workouts—they’ve been so helpful during my recovery. On top of that, the food recommendations and meal options are a great bonus. Overall, this app has everything I need, and I highly recommend it!
