Wont connect
It detects the mx5 wink mod Bluetooth, but when you click on it, it’ll attempt to connect and then just say “idle”. Never actually connects.
its nice when it works but doesnt stay connected
it usually takes a good while for the rx7 module to connect and has taken upwards of 10-15 minutes before which is annoying but the real issue is when the mod disappears and cannot be reconnected to the app without extensive work. last time i had to reset the unit, delete the app, unplugged it and plugged it back in but deleting the app and the reset were the fix. I tried the same thing this time and i havent been able to get it to connect after resetting it 3 times and deleting the app and unplugging and plugging back in.

it works good until you disconnect and close out the app. after you close out the app you can never reconnect to it unless you uninstall and redownload the app. itll just say something like “searching” or “connecting”. well at least with the mr2wink mod, not sure about the miata. however it does make the mexican wink work hnlike the first app!
