About

Living with atrial fibrillation means keeping track of things that are hard to remember and easy to lose: when an episode started, what you'd eaten, whether you took your medication, how long it lasted. My AFib Companion keeps that record for you and turns it into a summary you can hand to your cardiologist. WHAT IT DOES • Log episodes — start and end time, symptoms, severity, suspected triggers, notes • Track medications — doses, schedules, reminders, and a record of what you took • Read your Apple Health data — heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV, ECG results, AFib History, sleep and steps, all in one timeline • Generate a doctor-ready PDF — a one-page summary of your episodes, adherence and trends for your next appointment • Spot patterns — see how your logged episodes line up with sleep, alcohol, caffeine and stress over time • Daily check-ins — a 30-second record of the lifestyle factors that matter • Emergency card — your conditions, medications and contacts on one screen • Home screen widgets — your latest heart rate and today's medications • Full CSV export — your data is yours, any time, with no subscription required ABOUT YOUR DATA Your weekly summaries and pattern analysis are generated entirely on your iPhone. No health data is sent anywhere to be analysed by us or by anyone else. Your records sync to your own private account so they survive a new phone and so you can restore them if you reinstall. That account is protected by row-level security — only you can read your own records. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell data, we do not run ads, and there are no third-party trackers. The subscription is what pays for the app. You can export everything as CSV, or delete your account and all associated data, at any time — including when your subscription is inactive. IMPORTANT My AFib Companion is a wellness and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not detect atrial fibrillation. It does not provide medical advice. Never start, stop or change any medication based on anything in this app. Always talk to your own clinician. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. SUBSCRIPTION My AFib Companion requires a subscription after a 30-day free trial. There is no limited free version. • 30 days free, then $9.99/month or $59.99/year • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase • Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period • Manage or cancel any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions • If you cancel during the trial you will not be charged Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are available inside the app under More › About, and at the Privacy Policy link on this page. What's New in My AFib Companion

2.1

August 5, 2026

Thanks for using My AFib Companion. This update is about getting the small things right. The Rate button now takes you straight to the right place on the App Store, and there is a new, occasional prompt asking what you think of the app. Answer it or dismiss it, whichever you prefer. The CHA2DS2-VASc section has been rewritten. It now explains what each factor means and what a clinician does with the total, and it stays clear of anything that could read as advice about your own treatment. As always, those conversations belong with your clinician. Wording about your data has been corrected on several screens so it accurately describes how your records are stored and synced, and what stays on your iPhone. On the subscription screen, the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links now open the documents inside the app, so you can read them before you decide. Keep the feedback coming. It shapes what I work on next.
