Crashes on launch and completely unusable

It pains me to write this review because this WAS the best beer cellar app I had used. I was a very happy user for well over a year, but after the last update I began having issues.

First the app began to crash on launch on my iPad but worked perfectly fine on my iPhone. I reached out to the developer who was responsive and said he’d look into it, then I never heard anything back. I shrugged because it still worked on my iPhone and that was my priority anyhow.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago and the app began crashing on launch on my iPhone too. Reached out to the developer but this time no response. The app is unfortunately useless to me now. I wish I could give the app 5 stars because I love it, but unfortunately it simply doesn’t work at all anymore. I hope Said sees this review and reaches out with a fix…

Great beer tracker

Thoroughly enjoying that so far. Easy to add things to My Cellar and the movie untapped integration is great. My only suggestion would be to include a section to move beers to once they were removed from the seller. Like once I drink it there’s still a section that includes that bottle.

Hmmmm

It’s a great in theory but I really am not happy with the limited search function within Untappd . Why should anyone have wait 2 hours to search for different beers after searching for a while? Don’t bother buying the upgrade I see no improvement after I shelled out 14$ will not be renewing.

Hi and thanks for the feedback! Untappd unfortunately forces all integrators to 100 requests per hour, and I definitely understand it can be troublesome when you want to document your cellar for the first time. However, after this initial documentation, I've found the 100 requests per hour to be sufficient. I'll try to work with Untappd to increase the limit. Are there sources other than Untappd you wish you could use for searching? Maybe manual entry?

I like the app but one of the primary reasons I purchased it was for iCloud syncing between devices. I have two cellars and it looks like it only syncs the default cellar location and not all cellar locations which is kind of a let down. Hopefully the developer fixes this issue!

Well thought out app.

Easy to navigate and add/track your collection. UnTappd integration makes it easy to find your beers and gives the important stats (style, abv) and icons for easy identification. Good search/filter options for your collection.
