Mediocre
The app is mediocre. Requires too many log ins and hasn’t updated any journeys since 13 June. Worked, sort of but has decided not too. One star now because it won’t let me log in at all. Please don’t auto respond with some customer care message. Just make a proper app.
Refuses to connect
I have been trying to get my new EC-3 to connect with the app and show my current state of charge and to enable me to plan charges. However the app just says that x a problem has occurred check back later!!! The message hasn’t changed all week. This app appears to be useless - the E Routes app is also unable to show SOC how can Citroen/ Stelantis expect customers of their vehicles to pay for this app. Totally unacceptable in 2026 sort this out Citroen please.

App useless
Just lately can’t login just in a continuous loop then says it needs an update, won’t sync with the vehicle! Just unusable and when you pay for the connected services can’t use the pre conditioning from the app.
Several released updates from when I added this review and still it does not connect, paying for connected services which I can’t use!
I have been to the dealer they have checked the car and is fine the app is the issue the battery charge level is just stuck at 40% does not change it may connect once then that’s it! I’m not the only person repotting issues!

No idea where to start with this one…
Strange that the 4 and 5 star reviews then go on to explain the app is useless, and several people seem to be reviewing their actual car and not the app itself…Anyway, where in the name of god do you start with this app? I have no idea what it’s supposed to do, in fact I don’t think the app knows what it’s supposed to do. Constantly signed out, doesn’t connect to car even when sitting in it, can’t set charging or cabin preconditioning remotely or on a schedule. All it actually does is tell me where it’s parked…but only when I’m sitting in the car! It’s also charging me 7 odd pound per month for some service which seems to offer no purpose, yet it’s so bewildering confusing to cancel it…and apparently I’m signed up until 2046! When people pay good money for a car the least they can expect is a decent app. Yes an app might not be strictly necessary to actually drive the car, but when a salesman waffles on about all the fancy things you can do with it and the bloody thing can’t even connect it feels like a bit of con.

Recent updates poor
Unfortunately this app has stopped working completely. Tells me I have o internet connection when I do. It’s impossible to perform updates or track driving anymore. Disappointing.
Very buggy, unreliable
Randomly prevents Apple Car Play from connecting. Login fails about half the time. Range shown in the app is usually wrong. Very disappointing.

Never works properly and always 4 days behind . Get notification that new journeys have been logged. Open the app and it asks to reinstate filters !!!
Slow as a slug
The app is fab when it wants to work. Slow as a snail when it doesn’t or boots you out and you have to sign in. Trips not loading for hours despite being plugged in to van while driving. Though the “update might fix this. It’s made it worse.
Not working
Just so backwards! It will not work. Telling me to got for 20 min drives, and refresh the app. Then 10 mins with the engine one then refresh! What nonsense is this. With a tesla, it works instantly! We’ve gone back to the 80a with this app
New version just deleted my car
Such an amateur offering - I understand that there could be issues communicating with my 10 year old car. But deleting my car after 7 years of being connected is sheer incompetence- it’s also a complete mystery as to why it needs to connect to the internet at all as it clearly doesn’t store the data- try the scan bin number - total joke

Crash by crash
The app requires double-launching. After the first time, it simply disappears, crashing on startup. Secondly, the app requires logging in too frequently, which is cumbersome and incredibly annoying, as I have to visit the Citroen website, log in, and then return to the app again. This bug should have been fixed long ago.

Great when it works
More often than not it doesn’t. Logs me out all the time, crashes when trying to set up/change cabin preconditioning.
Found to be unusable
The app will only work in conjunction with the website. I was unable to register on the website as neither I nor my iPhone could come up with a password of sufficient complexity to satisfy Citroën. All I wanted was to find out how to apply the handbrake on my new Relay to stop it rolling away.

In my 2 years experience of having the Citroen app I have found it to be the Achilles heal to my Citroen electric car .
The car is fine but the Citroen app just wont .work properly .
My advice to Citroen is check out the Tesla app to see how an app should work)

Charge no longer shown
Since the last update the level of charge is no longer updated, very annoying
Useless app
The app is slow like a dialup modem. It is annoying and launch itself every time you connect the bt or CarPlay and there is no way to stop it. Had to delete it
Extremely Frustrating
This app is one of the most frustrating things I’ve come across, when you need it to connect to the car for either cooling or heat the car prior to getting to it, it never connects or has logged you out then taking what feels like weeks to reconnect. I getting to the point of giving up and not bothering with the app altogether.

Terrible app
Completely useless. Basic features like preconditioning your car or charging schedules cost £8.99 a month. The app is completely pointless and looks like it was made in a weekend. It’s poorly translated to English as well.

Waste of space!!
Half of my journeys doesn’t upload even the phone and app was connected before the journey started. Lots of glitch, not accurate distance many times, and can’t do much with Citroen 4 PureTech 2024, petrol.
