Still good

You just make your playlist on the phone and import the playlist for crossfading, it’s easy. Love the app!

Crash Trash

The developer jumped ship. This needs to be removed from the App Store.

I’m happy!

This is perfect for me. I do need to keep the crossfade slider all the way left & there is no sophisticated playlist management but I don’t need those things. Thanks for a great, simple, & elegant solution to the lack of xfade problem in iphones. I’m happy to rate this one 5 stars.

It only works with purchased music and not Apple Music

They need to update this app. It would be amazing to see the app work with Apple Music and update it for the iPhone X

Concept is awesome but doesn’t actually play music

I attempted to use this app to cross fade and play portions of songs through Apple Music. It doesn’t explain that the music must be downloaded from Apple Music topopulate in the app. Fine. I figured it or. However, even though it populated in the app once downloaded the music won’t actually play. I can see the timer ticking on my dash in my car that the song is playing but no volume. Attempted to play through both the cord and blue tooth and just trough my phone’s speakers. Still no music (yes the volume was up).
App does not actually work

Doesn't work with Apple Music

I've tried everything to make this work this my music saved from the Apple Music. I even tried downloading playlists on my phone and it doesn't even pick up ANY SONGS. Just shows my playlists, but empty with no songs in it. iOS has been allowed to view the music and nada! Ugh

Perfect for Crossfading tracks

I just needed an app that crossfades a white noise track so there is no gap between tracks. This is perfect for that.

Really disappointed!

I downloaded this app and then paid the $10 for the lifetime membership, only to realize, after-the-fact that there is no way to get the app to do a simple playlist and keep it in the order I've already arranged it in. How ridiculous is that?!?! If I wanted an app to randomly shuffle my songs, I could have just used the regular Itunes feature on my ipod to do that. I needed an app that would provide a customized crossfade and keep my playlists in my chosen order. Ugh. I had so hoped this would be a viable answer for my situation. I wish I'd read the reviews before I paid the money.

Love it! But...

It needs search, playlists, and artists/albums. Other than that it's really cool. Love the shake feature. Please add more than a random cue. It needs to be more customizable. That's all.

Save yourself!

I just spent an hour simply trying to Crossfade one relaxing song and have it replay over and over. IMPOSSIBLE to do. This thing will literally pick a song at random. There's no directions I'm totally confused and frustrated. All I want to do it is have a song Crossfade into itself and replay the same song over and over while I sleep. I guess my search continues.

For those who are considering buying READ

This use to be one of my favorite apps. Then one day it stopped working. I was excited to see an update for it, only to be let down again. This app is still nonfunctional. It loads then nothing happens. Also, I'm annoyed that once again there is an in app purchase to get rid of the adds. I've boughten two of these in earlier releases, which I feel was totally unnecessary after the first, cause when you pay for something, you should be entitled to what you pay for. Nope, not with these guys. With every update, guess what, your previous in app purchase to get rid of adds must be repurchased, CAUSE THERES NO RESTORE IN APP PURCHASE OPTION! So if your planning on buying this, I hope you read my review and changed your mind. Steer clear of this app. Oh, and one last thing, 9.99 to get rid of adds now!!!!! RIDICULOUS!

The best app for crossfading

Just know that every time you touch Songs , you’re resetting your queue playlist and it will go to shuffle. This is the only app I’ve found that will crossfade into the next song when you fast forward and that you can adjust the crossfade length (although that feature was lost in last iOS update and I’m sure will be addressed.)

Nice Idea, But....

In concept and theory, this was an awesome idea for an app. But with all the bugs and glitches, I can't really enjoy it. The most disturbing issue with me is that no matter how many times I choose a playlist, when I play the app, it just randomly chooses songs in my phone. So it's just pot luck as to what will play. I have no way of choosing my songs, let alone the order that they are played in. So this defeats the entire purpose of the app. Also not being able to view the play list is another pain in the neck. So unless you memorize your play list, you will never know the order of the songs that will eventually play. I'm a DJ so I'd like to pre-set my themes so that when I go from slow jams to dance music, I can control that transition using the app. But the way it is, it ignores my playlists and just randomly chooses whatever songs it finds and plays them in a seemingly random order.
We need a major upgrade to this app. Don't let another developer take your app, fix the bugs and get all the credit for it. Fix it now. It's only going to take a few tweaks and you will have a 5 Star app.

Amazing

Went on a hunt for a simple DJ app and this delivers. Simple yet effective. It crossfades between songs... Lets you choose which songs, how long the songs play, whether to start from the begin of songs or middle, and how long the songs crossfades. Overall I love the app. The app does crash/glitch every once in a long while. It will pause between songs instead of actually cross fading. Exiting the app, stopping it (by double tapping home and holding over an app and finally clicking the 'x'), and reopening it solves the problem.

Great! A+ for a free app ($0.99 for ad removal)

Nice

Just what I was looking for. A nice basic player to auto crossfade songs.
It WORKS WITH YOUR REGULAR MUSIC.
But there's one little flaw. It's "playlist" is only whatever the last set of selected songs you choose. So it you select one song, it loops that one song, you can't add to the list.

Plus, the "add all songs" option should only work for the currently viewed set. If I select down to a playlist of say Classic Rock, then hit select all, I shouldn't get every song on the phone....including audiobooks. that option should be reserved for the select all at the top of the songs menu.

Minus one star until these are fixed.

UPDATE: Restarted the phone and now it seems to be working properly. Yes, last selected becomes the new playlist, so you could theoretically have one song loop over and over. But not it does seem that selecting add all at the top of a playlist adds only those songs. Much better. Also checked it with the shake to switch feature and they're sticking within the playlist. Adding one star. Even the ads aren't annoying.

It used to be cool

What happened? My gf loves when I play dj, this app had everything I needed. Crossfade, being able to select songs from my iTunes playlists...now it plays only five songs then just stops. I hope they update this soon. Don't bother downloading until they correct this problem. Fixes I hope they make: playing songs adds to play count in itunes, control crossfade and add different crossfades, put an auto dj feature that lets u select a playlist then
And plays songs randomly, let's u see what the next song. Just some ideas

It's about time...

I've been waiting for a crossfade app forever! So surprised Apple didn't incorporate the feature to their iPhones.. SUCH a needed app if you love music, it just makes the whole experience feel like an awesome set. I now make my playlist according to proper crossfading, all you need is to set "Song Play Time" to (Full Song) in the phone's settings and turn "Shuffle Songs" to (Off). Great app! Great replacement to juke box apps too! For any road trip, camping trip, parties, tailgating.. just wish we can fast forward / rewind and also maybe be able to remove songs... BUT, still isn't a bother if you love every song on your device, which I do, so two thumbs up!!

Pleeeese update

I love the idea but this app needs some updating. 1st you should be able to save and record your mixes 2nd you should definatly let this app be used for multitasking so when i go onto the web orsomthing like that the music dosnt just stop. And 3rd if you add the recording feature you could let us pick the area of the song that we want to play. Thank you!! Overall a pretty good app. Its really good for parties and occations when when you dont want to listen to the entire 3 minute song,

few hiccups, otherwise great

Great app like the others have mentioned. I had a little problem with the app though. Once in a while, the album art would "stick" even as the next song would play. Using the controls to go back one song and forward one cleared it up. Wasn't happening all the time, but once in a while. Strange I know. Just pointing it out in case the developer has other reports that are similar. All in all, a great addition to your music library.

An Improvement!

Good job with the update Scott! The interface is MUCH more appealing than it was before and you added a TON more functionality than the previous version!

The ability to play a song from point A to B would be still be great though. If you've ever had a PSP, it allows you to loop through a certain segment. For example, 1:00-1:20. It would repeat those 19 seconds until turned off. I'm not sure if the PS3 has that function though.

Also, it seems that there's a bit of a transition lag between songs with the album art coming in two-three seconds later. It's not much but it'd make a difference.

One last thing, the little tab at the top for the song name/artist should be moved to the bottom, in my opinion. A smooth animation would be fantastic but it's just a small thing.
