Tracking earth quakes has never been easier.
Years ago I moved off the west coast because I understood the magnitude of danger living near major fault lines most my 60+ years. I and family survived the 1971 Sylmar quake, The 1989 Loma Prieta and 1994 Northridge quakes.
Because I know what’s coming for California I moved to a safer location on the east coast.
Regretfully, I left so much family and all my good friends. Now I need a way to be notified when the “big one” hits and know that once it does, all communication is gonna get jammed up out west. This makes the earthquake app one of the most important to me. I just hope the app servers are hardened against failure during these destructive events. I wouldn’t trust it as an early warning notification tool, at least until I study the response time data and I’m sure how to do that,..yet🤔🥇

Not Recommened-Virus Ads
I would not recommend this app. I’ve had this for several years and thought it was moderately helpful. Recently, I wanted to get more data on a recent event. When I went to go into the event, it loaded and ad, and the ad was similar to the recommended action, and I clicked on that instead of the actual app button. I am now getting several virus messages from this app. I have removed this and will not use this app again.

Who in the hell puts an advertisement in an App that is to supply Earthquake alerts. Think is getting an advertisement when you call 911.

We get the notification around 25 minutes later. Useful only for information not to help us get ready in advance or alert us if we don’t sense the movement.
