I was very excited about this app for my child with special needs. When I tried to make a custom word list it would not allow me to access photos on my device despite giving the app permissions to do so. I have already paid for the app so this is a big disappointment. When I tried to email support it bounces back as an unknown email address.

This app is so good. Last year, it helps Suri to use flashcards like this. So I’ll like this one because it help babies and young kids learn with flashcards. Thank you AlligatorApps for sending this app.
Pretty good app
Images and customization options are great! But image viewing design needs some work. Expect to swipe left / right to view images backward / forward and tap to repeat word. Instead, all you can do is tap image to move forward. No repeat; no back etc. Frustrating for little ones.
Great but can’t make own cards
Great app. But I can’t make my own cards. It won’t open up my photos to let me choose the pictures. This was the main reason I purchased it.
Great, but needs some improvement
In got this app for my 2 year old and it has really helped him with saying more words! There are just a few bugs/improvements that could be made.
1) When editing a previously made customized flash card, the recording will disappear and have to be re recorded. (For example if you change the thumbnail picture then the recording will not be there even though it still plays back on the editing screen)
2) After making or editing custom flash cards the sound goes way down when you go back into the flash cards. If you exit the app and go back in the sound goes back to normal.
3) It would be nice if you could go back to the last flash card.

Have had this app for several years now and it is still the best of its kind. I have been through hundreds of apps possibly thousands of reading apps and this app is simple and yet so effective way to get Kids to read.
You can customise the categories, font size and colour, add your own photos and words. Also speed. All our kids have used it over the years. It has helped our three year old to read very well.

Difficult to Customize
I want to create a customized list using the existing cards, but I can’t figure it out! I tried making a copy of the list, but I got stuck in a loop telling me to name it, but not allowing me to. I am frustrated!

Since the last iOS update I can no longer add my own photos either from the library or the camera which makes the app useless for me because I can't add new targets for my son

I bought this app for the customizable feature. The microphone doesn't work. Total waste of money!
Good app but two major flaws
I bought this to introduce my 15 month old to some new words, and she really enjoys looking at the pictures. However,
1) it's very American and there's not an option to make it British English (nor does it state it's American in the description)
2) I can't get it to record my voice. If this feature worked, then I could rename the American items.
I have emailed tec support so hopefully they will be able to rectify point 2.

Microphone doesn't work!
Love the idea of customizing cards but the microphone won't work on my iPhone 5, it has access to the microphone but I can't get it to do anything when I click record. Very disappointed!
Where has the sound gone?
There is no sound in the purchased app? Please fix it without further delay. No use of the app without sound.
Love it, but annoyed with support
I love this app. The kids can't move on to the next card until the recording is done saying the word, big deal for me as my kids would just tap through. I like how things are categorized. If you want basic animals, you can find them in the first words section. And then you can expand with dog and cat breeds. The ONLY problem I have with this app is that I cannot get the microphone to work with it to make customized cards. The app has permission in my privacy settings, so I'm stumped. I contacted their help email and have not heard back and it's been about a week.

Microphone won't work
I would love to customize my own flash cards but the microphone won't work. It did once and now it won't. It has access to my microphone but won't record anything. Pretty much a waste of 1.99 and my time.
