About
The workout timer that doesn't ask for a subscription.
Gym Timer gives you every timer style, hands-free voice control, and full progress tracking for one price, once. No subscription. No account. No ads. No "premium" wall. Buy it, and it's yours.
HANDS-FREE VOICE CONTROL
Chalk on your hands? Mid-set? Just talk to it:
• "Next" — advance to the next exercise, round, or minute
• "Pause" and "Resume" — control the clock
• "Done" or "Finished" — end a workout early, and your progress is still saved
Voice recognition runs entirely on your device. It works with no internet connection, and your audio never leaves your phone. Turn it off anytime.
SIX WAYS TO TRAIN
• Intervals — a list of timed exercises with reps, looped as a circuit
• AMRAP — count your rounds against a fixed clock
• EMOM — every minute on the minute, cycling through your task list
• Tabata — work/rest cycles with fully adjustable timing (20s/10s × 8 by default)
• For Time — race the clock through a checklist, with a time cap
• Custom — build your own sequence, mixing timed steps and rep-based steps in any order. Finish by rounds, by a time limit, or leave it open and stop when you're done.
BUILT FOR THE GYM FLOOR
• Huge countdown you can read from across the room
• Loud cues that play even in silent mode — with a 5-second audio countdown before every switch
• A bell chime when the workout is complete • A spoken "Rest" cue in Tabata • A 3-2-1-GO pre-roll • Haptics on every beat • Screen stays awake

• Export a summary card to Photos, or your full history as a spreadsheet

What's New in My Gym Timer
2
September 5, 2026
• New: Clock. Set a duration and go — a countdown you can read from across the gym, with no exercises, no rounds and nothing to count. • Your timers now keep true time. Take a call, lock your phone or switch apps mid-workout: come back and the clock is where it should be, not where it stopped. • Finish early and your history records the time you actually trained. • For Time counts you down through its last five seconds now, like every other timer. • The countdown sits centred and steady instead of shifting sideways as the digits change. • Fixed: on iPad, naming an exercise, a step or a round could leave you with a cursor and no keyboard.
