User friendly

I've had a flawless experience with the JCA app over the past three years. It's been consistently reliable and efficient on both my iPhone and my wife's.

I suspect the negative reviews stem from the fact that JCA's membership consists of older, less tech-savvy individuals who may struggle to navigate the app effectively.

Don't let those reviews deter you.

User friendly

I’ve been going to JCA for 3 years and I never had a single issue with the app.

The app is fantastic and works perfectly. Both for me and my wife on different iPhones.

Since JCA is full of mature members, I am guessing they don’t know how to deal well with technology, therefore, the bad reviews. Don’t go by the bad reviews.

Useless

Don’t bother saving a password with myJ — its something called upace but good luck. Design, UX and UI are terrible

Frustrated with it

The worse app I’ve ever used. Freezes all the time. Is slow when it is moving. The concept is great - enables user to see and schedule classes - but the actual usage is frustrating. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the thing 5 times in 4 months. Too bad. Please fix.

Not good for older people

There is no way to increase font or change contrast in the app. The choice of background and font color is terrible. Clearly developers did not think about majority of users. They just rushed through design without any consideration. Very disappointing.

Not ideal

It’s ok to borrow the design ideas from other similar apps.

Think again

Whoever designed this app should be fired. For certain things—location info, setting up workshop appointments etc—it works well enough, but it lacks essential links, such as clickable cancellations, telephone contact, specific listings for scheduled equipment use. In addition there are some confusing redundancies. This is the kind of web design that only looks good to the designer but frustrates the user. In short, it’s a mess. Please redesign from scratch.

Unusable

App lists lanes available but when I try to book it says the slot has already been taken. Followed recommendations from the staff to log out and back it and even tried reinstalling and still face the same issue. Staff eventually gave up and told me the issue is with me.
