Haven’t been able to keep journaling before this app. It’s so incredibly simple and easy to use
Simple, nice daily journaling
Clean, calming journaling app that’s easy to stick with. I like the mood tracking and gentle prompts, and it feels thoughtfully designed without being overwhelming.
Smart Search
The app description mentions a “smart search” feature. But I give up on trying to find this feature. I emailed the developer but never received a response. I would appreciate a reply.

Easy yet complete
I was hesitant because I’ve tried a bunch of journal apps and actually have a favorite. But….this might even replace that one. You can do everything you want in this journal and it’s all right there at one glance. Photo, audio or written entries- or a combination of any of them. The ease of this is a big big plus. It has all I need yet there’s no learning curve. I can’t recommend this enough and am

Finally, A Journal That Suits My Need!
Since I seriously started my journaling journey late this year (2025), I've been on the lookout for the perfect app. My initial requirements were simple: a minimalist interface and a feature to track my mood. I was surprised to discover that many modern apps also let you upload photos and save locations. After a long search on the App Store, I finally found and tested "My Journal." What really sold me on subscribing to the Pro version was realizing it's made by an independent developer, Tai. The app's user experience and features—including mood tracking, location saving, photo uploads, tagging, and insights—are fantastic. I decided I wanted to support the creator behind such a great tool. Right now I can say that I'm so happy with the full experience, and I'm really looking forward to the next update that will add iCloud syncing. I hope more people discover and use this app!

Fresh new start
I have been meaning to journal more and this app has helped immensely. From the simple interface and the delightful reminders to journal and the fantastic photo map I love both writing and reflecting on journal entries. Would recommend!

A Better Journal
I have tried so many times to get into journaling and have failed as nothing has ever stuck. This app is a game changer. I love how easy it is to use and to get how I am feeling into the journal weather it’s text, audio or images. 100% recommend

I love using My Journal, it helps me to stay consistent with my journaling practice, and keep everything in one place. I can journal when I don’t have a notepad with me, and love the different audio, text and image options. This means if I do need some screen free journaling time, or want to draw instead, I can still capture it by taking a photo, ensuring everything stays together. It’s simple to use and the reminders give me the nudge I sometimes need! Looking forward to being able to read through past notes in the future!

Fantastic idea
This is such a beautiful app- the ability to capture so many different moments of a day and store it in one app to be able to come back to is such a fantastic idea. I’ve only just started using it but cannot wait to look back in a years time and remember all these moments that I otherwise would have forgotten!

Great at capturing precious moments
A great little fully fledged journaling and tracking app - it’s nice being able to add audio and photos alongside written entries. The daily affirmations are a neat touch too
