Hate it when….
game 1 was great, game 2 was perfect, game 3 was also great and then they did what all great games do wrong. Trying to make it better they make it too complex and they lost what made it great in the first place, fun. The best games are simple and straight forward yet still challenging and thus fun. This game tries too hard and took all that away. Having to go back several times over to pick up what you need just makes it boring having to keep going back. I get it, now you have to start planning what you go back to in what order to get thru whatever challenge, sounds good. But ever hear “less is more?” the other three games were fantastic for this reason and to this day the only reason I own a iPad (ps PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update 2 and 3 like you did 1) but every time I try 4 again I get bored and quit, just not fun…

Huge Disappointment
I was so excited to see a new release as I loved the other games, I bought it and what a huge disappointment! The graphics were awful - especially chapter 2. You couldn't even see where you needed to go next. The tapping 3 times per resource was awful and the fact that you couldn't see your goals was annoying. Huge waste of money. One star is being generous.

Great game but...
I can't play the sixth level. And no options if I have to purchase access. Very annoying.

Some of the levels are a little tough but at least you can retry them as many times as you want and it doesn't cost you a life to restart a level

...but this one is sooooo different than the previous versions. Take note, most of us like the previous versions, so if a new one is made, go back to the previous style!

Not as good as the previous series
As others have mentioned, game style is slightly different where you have to retrieve the same resource multiple times in order to clear it. It's hard to also know when a path has been cleared and what options you have for the next step. The only improvement is that you can select your next action ahead of time which is probably what makes the game easier now than before. Overall, not much of a challenge compared to the previous versions.

Disappointing!
This game is very different from the previous MKFP versions. This one is very slow and redundant. On mostly all the levels you are just gathering supplies and clearing obstacles. Rarely does a level have a farm, sawmill, or goldmine to help. There is no warehouse or treasury and anything else like that. Also, in Chapter 4, in the snow/winter setting, the dragonets that appear in the sky are the same color as the sky! You can barely see them to get rid of them. There are also no green circles to highlight obstacles you are able to clear; in this version the obstacles are barely highlighted at all.
This game is extremely disappointing compared to previous versions. It is a definite let down.

Why has this been allowed to continue?!
I too have purchased level 6 and it remains unplayable. I notice from other reviews this has been going on for over a year, the complaints have been ignored and yet they are still being allowed to take people's money. Not happy at all.
Levels need to be fixed
Hi - am stuck on level 4:5 in game two - have done all other games and have to agree this latest one to easy - no challenge -
I figured out how to access level 6!!
Was a great game until I paid for level 6. It wouldn't open. I figured it out though!! You have to start a new player and go from the beginning then you can play level 6 at the end. Just wish they would have told everyone that.

Just got the new level, purchase OK but can't access any of the level. This sounds like it has been going on for some time. Why is it not being fixed, or at least some response from the game suppliers?
I liked the old ones better
This new MKFTP is just ok. I much preferred the older version's graphics and I especially love replaying levels until I beat the developers score. Still, I purchased the sixth area in this 4th version, but it will not let me play it.
Broken app
Love the game, but paid for the extra level pack and cannot access any of the levels. Needs an update to fix.

Very addicting, very fun!
Two things i wish they had not changed: the tasks are no longer included on the time bar. And, i'm spoiled, i liked the green circles around the activated items. But, it's more challenging, so thats okay. Just put the tasks back on the bar so i can keep track of them :)
