A well thought out app with realistic graphics and smooth, fluid animation that mimics fish movement beautifully. You can customize both the koi and each pond. Add plants, logs, water lilies, leaves and even change the water color.
You get fish immediately and don’t have to pay more for fish or tank extras-just feed the fish to help them grow. The one time app charge is low with no additional charges which is becoming a rarity in the App Store.
You can view the fish from underwater at various levels -even looking up towards the clouds or view from above in feeding mode. The sounds from nature in addition to the watching the koi swim is very relaxing. It even rains sometimes-also customizable. You can focus on the movement of any koi in the tank by selecting it from the tank list. Wow!
The app takes a second or 2 to switch between ponds and the transition is smooth. Haven’t had any problems with this app.

Really good, but I think there should be goldfish
So I know this game is focused on Koi and stuff, but maybe there could also be a goldfish since they are relatives and also I’m very excited to sealed the goldfish body types that could be added if the developers see this update : I think it would be really cool if you could breed the fish because it already has good models

Virtual Koi masterpiece
Having spent a lot of money on my Koi pond and to then have a wipe out after an electrical Pump and filter failure during very hot weather. This is wonderful Andy I love choosing the colours and watching my Koi grow. It’s a beautiful game to play, without a doubt one of the best.

Best mental health app literally ever, wish I could give it 6 or 7 stars
Ok so the title is a joke but like it is so peaceful to just sit and watch the fish swim around. Maybe I am too easily entertained but I absolutely love how stress kinda fades into the background when I’m listening to the music/ambience and watching em swim.
This is also just a really well made game. The graphics are soooo pretty, the mechanics are straightforward, and it doesn’t feel like adding more stressful tasks to your day (feeding them is not a hassel at all, and isn’t required every single day). You don’t have to worry about fish dying but you do get to look forward to unlocking more slots as they get bigger! Plus you get to design how they look yourself (the fish and the pond backgrounds!), which is very satisfying and lets me create themed ponds that my weird little brain really enjoys.
Not to mention, unlike almost every other collecting/caring for pets type game I’ve played, you don’t have to pay a stupid amount of money/grind to progress! Three dollars is a reasonable price, especially since the dev is just one guy in his spare time (or at least that’s what the customer service looks like). We appreciate you buddy, this app is awesome!!
My only qualms are that the first time I open it for the day, it’s really slow to load and I have to exit the app and get back in for it to start up (really not even a problem), and that you can change the time of day for the ponds but there’s no way to automatically sync it to the actual current time of day (which would be cool but again, not really a problem at all). Honestly I only mentioned those things so y’all don’t think I’m a bot 💀💀 Goodness knows how many fake reviews are on the app store rn

Wenig Möglichkeiten
Im Großen und Ganzen eine gute App. Jedoch würde ich mir wünschen, das man die Koi z.B vom einen in den anderen Teich verlegen kann.

Vielen Dank für die Bewertung. Es kommt ein Update mit einem vierten Teich. Ich stimme zu, die Fische brauchen ein besseres Managementsystem. Es gibt tatsächlich eine Möglichkeit, die Fische zwischen Teichen und mehr zu bewegen, mithilfe der iTunes-App und File Sharing. Beautiful and relaxing
Great peaceful non-game. Please note I feed my koi on a daily basis; however, it's been something like a year now and no new breeds available and no more space, as promised. Has developer abandoned this app? I hope not.

Fantastic game for whole family
Beautiful pond features and there are 3 ponds which means kids and I can have 1 pond each!! Also love it being not overly addictive and just need to feed fish once per day. Well done to the developers! Namo Amituofo

Not a game experience
I wasn’t sure about this at first. I was afraid it was going to be a game where I had to earn coins to do some challenge. I just wanted a way to relax. I have other fish tank apps that allow me to just watch which I used all the time. But this is way better because I get to watch them and interact with them. The only “game” type activity is that if you ignore them for a few days the pond gets dirty. But all I have to do is feed them and it’s better. Graphics aren’t life like but pretty close. None of the fish are cheesy looking. It has beautiful scenes and nature sounds or music. Wonderful way to relax.

Serene and relaxing
I love this koi pond app. I like to have it going while I’m working, with noise-cancelling headphones, it makes for a very tranquil mood. Glad to see the devs are keeping it updated as well, and we all appreciate that!
My only concern is that after a while, like maybe 20 minutes or so, I do notice my phone is quite warm. I’m running an iPhone 15 Pro, so I’m on a new device. I imagine it’s just the amount of processing power it uses, so I wanted to call that out in case that’s something that could be worked on for a future update.
