Wonderful Financial Learning Opportunity for Youth
My 7 year old son decided to participate in our local lemonade day and the My Lemonade Day app was a big draw. The initial video introduction with the Lemme Lemon character got him really excited to learn. He loved watching the videos and the app did a great job engaging him with prompts related to market research, calculating expenses, and setting goals for his profits.
He spent dedicated time after school and on weekends completing the app modules and upon finishing them felt a big sense of completion. His lemonade stand experience was a success! We knew he was a little young for these lessons but he really did absorb so much. We are very proud of his accomplishment and impressed with this app that fosters entrepreneurship. My son now wants to tip at all of the businesses we visit because he tells them, “I know how hard it is to run a business.”

Terrible set up
This is one of the most unintuitive apps I have ever used. Functionality, use and instructions are so bad it’s basically unusable. They need a better developer to fix this mess. For a program designed to help kids it’s a shame they can’t do better with the set up. We are on our second year of the program and I was hoping it would have improved since last year but it’s the same hassle as before.

MLD is perfect for kids!
The experiential learning component of My Lemonade Day gives kids the opportunity to put themselves out there and try something completely out of their comfort zone. It is amazing to watch how they come to life when they launch their business and interact with customers! I am so thankful to My Lemonade Day for being a vehicle that teaches kids essential skills and knowledge of business that really would lay dormant otherwise.

Great way to help my kids develop an entrepreneurial mindset!
Loved the fun and engaging lessons that helped my kids think about problem solving and achieving their goals in a new way! The lessons are simple enough for my 8 year old to understand and challenging enough for my pre-teens to apply them to their Lemonade Day Stand and beyond. Thank you for building an app that keeps their attention on such valuable life lessons!
