Too Hard
I Love Cupcake
Response from developer
Thank you so much for your kind review! ❤️ We’re thrilled to hear that you’re enjoying taking care of your pets in My Little Friend, and it sounds like Cupcake has definitely found a special place in your heart! 🐰 It’s especially meaningful to hear that the game brought back memories of having a bunny when you were little. Creating those kinds of connections is one of the things we love most about making games. As a blind developer, accessibility has always been one of my highest priorities, so your words about the game being accessible for visually impaired players truly mean a lot. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for being part of our growing community. Give Cupcake an extra treat from us! 😊

Thank you so much for the incredibly detailed review and for spending time with My Little Friend! First, we’re honored by your kind words. Hearing someone call this their favorite virtual pet game means a lot, especially from someone who has explored so many virtual pet experiences and cares deeply about accessibility. You brought up several thoughtful suggestions and bug reports, and we’ve added them to our feedback list for review. The ideas around choosing your starting pet, deeper sleep mechanics, age-based behavior differences, real-world weather and day/night cycles, and stronger connections between household pets are all interesting directions that fit well with the cozy companion experience we’re trying to create. Thank you as well for reporting the onboarding and audio issues. The scrolling problem during onboarding and the music behavior on first launch definitely sound like bugs, and we’ll be investigating those. The missing ambient weather and environmental sounds are also something we’ll take a closer look at. Regarding the XP system, we completely understand your perspective. Different players enjoy virtual pets in different ways, and it’s valuable for us to hear feedback from players who prefer a slower-paced companion experience where the focus is less on progression and more on bonding. One of our goals is to keep improving My Little Friend over time, and reviews like yours help shape that process. Thank you again for your support, your suggestions, and for being part of the journey. We hope you’ll continue sharing feedback as the game grows!
Fantastic little game!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying My Little Friend. One of our biggest goals from the very beginning was to create a virtual pet experience that everyone could enjoy, including VoiceOver users. As a blind developer myself, I know how frustrating it can be to find games that only offer partial accessibility, so making sure players could fully interact with and care for multiple pets was incredibly important to us. It’s especially meaningful to hear comparisons to the virtual pets many of us grew up with in the 90s. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for supporting My Little Friend. We have plenty more updates and features planned, and we’re excited to continue growing the game with our community!
Best virtual pet game but not quite what I expected
