Best mala that I could fine. Works on a KISS principle - KeepIt Simple, Stupid. Simple is what mekes it the best. Note to a developer: it would be very nice if you could add “play a sound on completion” Vibration is great for an iPhone, but doesn’t work on my vision pro. Also it would be nice if you could add different sounds for moving the beads..

I don’t know what people are expecting. Here is a free app with no ads for you to pray wherever you are. It is decent and the developer cannot monetize it. It is just with their pure good will that this app is here.

No tap sound
This app is the only one like it and I love it but even at full volume there is no tap sound which means I have to look at the beads, please fix this, I want this app but it needs a little tweaking.

How to reset counter?
Wrong way!
When doing the mala it should be turned towards you, where as in the app the mala is turned the wrong direction when tapped, this is a disgrace as it is not accurate to what it’s meant to be.
Wonderful App, Want more features
Wonderful app! Helps in my spiritual practice and improves my peace of mind. My request number 1, need audible sound - something different from tap sound - after Mala completion. I use iPhone and vibration after Mala completion not working for me. My request number 2, please add functionality to change Mala type. Now only one type. Would like be to change to Tulsi Beads when I need. Thank you in advance.

Love this app
I use this app every day. I'm not sure why some are critical here - it absolutely serves its purpose, it counts. I love it. Convenient, easy, and private. I would like to make some suggestions though such as being able to change to different sounds for 'clicking' bead and would love to be able to upload a photo of my guru on the bead and the option to change the back ground would be awesome. Perhaps some other chants or bhajans, morning prayers etc. incorporated into the app to expand it to it's greatest potential. :)

Tap sound is inaudible …
… on an iPod used by someone with older ears. The frequencies that make up the tap sound don’t carry well, or turn corners at all. I have to max the volume and aim the speakers at my face to hear the tiny, tinny tap. Suggestion: make the tap adjustably louder, and then test it on your parents. A choice of tasteful taps would make it easier to choose an audible one.
Also — It’s not your fault that the standard (non-iPhone) iPad doesn’t have a phone buzzer to vibrate after 108 beads. It is your fault that you rely on the imaginary buzzer. Maybe, optionally, the app could instead make a chime sound with the iPod’s speaker, so the user will know they’ve completed a lap.
While you’re fixing it, you should consider adding a setting to adjust how many beads constitute a lap. If I could set it to chime after 72 audible taps, this app would meet my needs, and be worth five stars. As is, it’s more of a distraction than a useful tool.

Important feature removed in update
This new update has stopped giving feedback after the completion of one mala. Not happy with that.
Junk
I would expect it to count each bead. It rotates the mama and has no vibrating.
Doesn't work for me
I was happy to learn of this app from Lion's Roar. Unfortunately it doesn't work for on my new iPad. There's no sound whatever when I touch the bead and nothing when I finish 108 beads. There's no way to restart a count, and no help button or information about the app in the app. It does make sounds on my iPhone but I cannot adjust the volume. It's way too loud and disruptive.

It advances 3-4 beads ahead. Only touching the big beads and miscounted when I go back.
