Unimpressed

I’m a bit disappointed with this app. I like the theme of divine feminine energy and tracking alongside the moon. I thought using this app would help me to focus on alignment with my cycle and the moon phases. I just don’t know what exactly am I getting with this app. I get notifications and the affirmations are pretty basic. I enter my cycle but the prediction is always 30 days from my cycle even though I’m not always a regular 30 days. I find the lil lady icons helpful when I read them I’m reminding about what I may be experiencing during that phase in the cycle which is helpful but I mean it’s pretty basic app. I felt like I got more out of Clue or Flo. I just really thought the theme would make this app more enjoyable but it’s basic and not worth the $1.99 in my opinion.

Personal journey

I loved using this app as an introduction to my cycle in a positive way. It helped me learn which phase I was in, and what that meant for me physically and emotionally, which led to me finding all about the superpowers each phase offers. It also allowed me the option to download my data before canceling (felt like I’d up leveled enough to tune into myself without an app), which I appreciated. I didn’t mind paying the low monthly fee since it is an app with personal information, and after all, if it’s free, you’re the product.

Exactly what I needed

Love this app. Started tracking to figure out some changes that were happening and have ended up knowing how to make some positive changes that I wish I’d known about years ago. I reached out for help to Dana when I couldn’t get something on the app to work and she went above and beyond helping me figure it out and recommended additional helpful literature and supports. Delighted.

devs: please keep going!

as a spiritual gray-a woman i wanted a period tracker app that does not assume i’m sexually active or trying to conceive, but understands i’m tracking my menstrual cycle to connect with myself.

i like the moon phases and evolution of my cycle being connected, i like tracking how that impacts my energy throughout the month, and i have a self-led work schedule, was looking for an app that would help me sync my work habits throughout the month with the moon and menstrual cycle, not be about not getting pregnant or sex habits. i’m not having sex and don’t focus on that; i’m about tracking for myself and the flow of my own life.

the concept is very good and will cause people who resonate with it to give the app a lot of passes because it’s different and is unique and different in how it handles period tracking, and the belief behind it.

i’m writing this review because i like the concept a lot, and i want the developers to invest the money they would need to dump into this to turn this from someone’s side project into something like Stardust as far as UX and design, which i found after i uninstalled this one and am currently using.

i would use this app and possibly consider paying for it if it was treated as seriously as far as UX and design go as the alternatives in the marketplace, but it’s currently clunky and not sleek, and i can see and feel this in a way that makes me choose other options over it.

i also don’t think most users or the project leaders themselves understand design or UX and the potential here or how it changes public perception and how usable an app feels the way a team of professional developers do. i would love to see what a team of female-led, full time, professional app designers do to this if they were to invest in user research and things to turn this into something exceptional and polished to turn it from a side project into a full on product that’s at the same level as other period trackers in the marketplace

Poor Functionality

This app is esthetically pleasing but that’s about where the buck stops. The functionality of the app is poor. It lacks the ability to input information without jumping through hoops to track the flow of changing bodies properly. I wanted to love it so I tried it again but it’s just frustrating to use and input or change data. I’m over it

Basic

Very basic info given. It just tells you what the moon position is in. Not accurate as mentioned nothing about recent eclipse.

Not quite

Love love love the idea of this app but unfortunately it misses the mark on the main need. When I enter in my last menstruation, the app does not calculate my current phase and it does not predict my future menstruation based on my data. Upon downloading the app, the app assumes I’m currently on day 3 of my period and will not calculate based upon my entered data.

Confusing to use, not accurate or user friendly

Cool concept but will be looking for something else. It’s hard and confusing to use, I reached out to support for help and they never got back to me. Unless your cycle is never late sure.. it can work but it cannot be adjusted and then gets messed up if it’s like 4 days after then you need to log two periods? Overall, no thank you. Too frustrating

Clunky, but they “get it.”

The people behind the app “get it”. Outstanding concept that actually addresses the point. “How might I expect to feel/think/be during this point of my menstrual cycle? Is the moon involved in my cycle, and how does that effect me?” Really looking forward to watching to progression of the app as the developers figure out the technical sides of it.

The app is unforgiving for those who aren’t entirely informed on the core data about their cycles. There’s no way to adjust how many days on average your cycles are or how long your average period is after you initially set it up without signing out and making a new account. There’s also no way to indicate when you period starts unless you’re adding an already-complete bleed cycle.

Incorrect expected period marker

When I corrected my actual period it didn’t adjust my expected period. It still showed my period in two weeks from when I just had it. It’s been doing that for some months. I wish it would correctly reflect when I can expect my next period. Because it doesn’t correctly rede let this I don’t think I can trust the other markers such as when it says I’m ovulating etc.

needs work

not very user friendly. wont show current period on the calendar properly if it comes a day early. too many things going on in the monthly screen and most isn't explained. cancelled subscription. i wouldn't waste your money

Amazing resource for women!

This is such a great app. I have used it regularly for a few years and there have been many new features and updates. It is such a powerful and easy to use tool to track your cycle, moods, energy, archetypes and more. and has helped me stay aware and empowered of my inner moon phases as well as the lunar phases! Could not recommend enough and am very grateful it was created for women by women. Thanks!!

Beware “free trial”

My account was charged 5 days into my 7-day free trial, before I had decided for sure whether to cancel. (I like the idea of this app , but it isn’t robust enough to really be useful, from what I could tell in a few days.)

Great intuitive app for women

I love the design of this app. It’s simple and down to point - it doesn’t only track your cycle but it keeps track on moon cycle and gives you supportive affirmation.

Fantastic App, highly recommended!

All issues have been resolved with the newest version of this app. It has quickly become my favorite menstruation tracking app and has been on par with my cycles. It’s fun, interactive and has helped me become so much more in tune with my body. Not to mention, the new graphics are an awesome bonus. Take pride in your period and your body. Give this app a try! Love it!

It’s not free but it’s worth it.

I really enjoy this app and find it useful to track the phases of my hormonal menstrual cycle, not just when I’m bleeding. It helps me navigate and understand my moods. And it helps with my relationships too. I like that this app helps me look at my cycle in a positive perspective, especially since that’s not the current norm. The onboarding directions were great. I also liked the low cost subscription (much more affordable then other period tracker apps out now). I also enjoyed that this app doesn’t sell my data and bombard me with ads. I get that all apps are a business and need money to stay in business. But I’d rather pay the business then have my private menstrual data sold off to who knows where. I’ve been recommending this app to all my friends!

Didn’t use

Cheeky! Free to download yet it’s a subscription.

Learned my lesson!

I thought it would sync with my period... It doesn’t... A waste of time!

Does not track accurately when cycle is between two months

I am so disappointed because I love the idea of this app but it is never accurate. Even though I have been adding my actual date, the expected is off and doesn’t adjust. This is especially inaccurate when the start of a new cycle is taking place between the end and beginning of month.

I just don’t get it.

I use other moon calendars to track my cycle so the concept is not new to me. But this app is so difficult to navigate!

The layout and concept are beautiful, but it’s an unfortunate waste of money. I’ve tried for several months and still
Don’t know how to log my cycles in this app.

Save your pennies and try a different tracker app, like Flo or PTracker, both of which are waaaaaaaaaay easier to use. (As if we need anything else difficult while cramping and bloating!)
