Very long, unskippable video plays when the app is opened.

Ummm

Well first off, I know origami and I use plain paper every day, I don’t get why you need to print out specific templates for it. I have a device that cannot connect to my printer so therefore I deleted this app. What if you don’t even have a printer but you want to use this app? I didn’t get past the part where it tells you to print it out, but I reckon if I did, it would be an amazing app. I recommend this for people who can connect to a printer from their device, but if not, then don’t bother with the app. If you could change this so that you could use normal paper then I would re-download the app but until then, I won’t. I would be very happy if you could fix this. 🤨

Dear pastapopsy Thanks for trying our app, we have put a lot of work on it and as with any apps that aim at trying new things, we can’t always check all the boxes when user experience is related, so apologies for that. Our app is aimed at kids 4+, we feel the patterns not only help them understand the instructions but also make the experience fun for them. We also require the stamps printed on the paper so they can validate their folds with the camera, this makes the app a bit less dependent of parents. You can print the paper from any device (phone, iPad or computer) by clicking on the web link or going to www.MyPaperWorld.app Finally, you can bypass the origami folding completely and still enjoy the AR features including “Clean the World” in AR, still free for you to play. Apologies again for not warranting a better score than 1 star, specially since, as you mention, the app would be amazing if you could have been able to print the paper.

Great AR game for kids

Very fun to play! I played with my niece, and she was totally engaged with the origami figures. It’s very thoughtful that this game doesn’t require scissors, just regular paper. I choose to print the designs in white to then color the figures with her. To see them transform in AR was definitely a plus. We have complete the first levels and will be getting the rest of the game. I think it is worth the price.
