Useless—$8 wasted
Downloaded the app, input my information (account, territory, electric codes), and nothing. Waited a month. Nothing. Completely useless.
In the developers defense, I’m guessing pge updated their system to brick the app, but either way, the app is now useless. Save your $8.

Poor support, outdated rate schedules, almost worthless
Once upon a time this app was pretty good. Now, sometimes it goes for weeks without updating the usage info. The rate schedule is generally outdated so when it give you a $$ amount of electrical usage the amount is never accurate. Not worth it. My Tesla app is way better.
Stopped working?
Previous versions worked well. I reinstalled and my login is accepted, but the app never loads. Restart wants me to login again.
Earlier versions were helpful because you could see if you would pay less on another rate plan, based on your previous usage.

Rates never up to date
This app never seems to update their rates so the $$$ amounts are NEVER correct. It sometimes goes days without updating electric usage, and I have had it go weeks without updating. Not a great app if you accurately want to track your energy usage and associated costs.
PG&E Toolkit
Doesn’t work at all!! Who can I call to get my money back?
Great when it works
Great app when it works but periodically stops updating for weeks or months. It’s been six weeks since it updated and no clue if they will fix this problem. It was a really useful program when it was working.
App stopped working October 24, 2021
I have paid cloud storage through June 2022, but the app stopped gathering PG&E data on October 24. Not sure if this app is of any use now.
Not updating
My usage hasn’t updated for the last 3 weeks.
No contact information to let developers know.
Useless.

Stopped working, no support
App was glitchy at first but did work briefly and was extremely useful. Now it won’t generate reports. There is ZERO support. The companies “website” consists of a single page with tabs labeled ‘help’, ‘forums’ etc. but every single link there is dead. Go look at ndilitechnologies.com and see for yourself before spending any money on this product. I hope they get it together because when working correctly this could save users a lot of money…

Made my move to another plan easier
This is one of the few apps I’ve used on a regular basis to verify I am indeed saving money after moving to an EV Time Of Use plan. So far, we’re rocking it.
The app could do with some UI updates to include updated screen sizes, etc.. but I find what I need out of the app. Given the author doesn’t seem to be getting any love from other users, I figured I’d put in my 2c.

I can't log in to PG&E
After providing my log in info, it hangs trying to get data. Nice idea, and I commend the developer for trying. My guess is that PG&E doesn't make it easy for 3rd party apps to login, and the last thing they want is for an app to provide actual usage and costing clarity for their customers.
Saved me $4000.00
Using the app saved me major cash by:
1. Helping me analyze the best plan.
2. Helping watch day by day usage so as to get best rates depending on the time of day.
It can be quirky and occasionally the developer needs to be reminded to refresh the data. But as a value added app, it has added tremendous value. The developer is just one person, and I doubt this is his whole life. But he always responds to issues if you email him.
Most people have no idea what their time of use charges are and would be shocked to learn that some plans charge 3X for power between 2pm and 11. After 11 what costs .45 during the day goes down to .12 late night.

Be sure to enter all required data or it will not work
Downloaded the app today. After signing in with my online PG&E credentials it hung up downloading data *until I entered the required Territory and heating type codes under the settings tab at the bottom of the page*—then it worked perfectly.
App doesn’t work
I purchased this app and entered the information required from my PG&E account. All I get is the words “initializing please wait”. Its been a week and I’m still waiting. Waste of money.

Great to optimize
This app is great - it helps me to optimize the charge time for my car, to pick the right rate plan, and look at if a Change I made actually makes a difference.
It suggests the best rate plan (it shows you how much a time period costs with any rate plan.)
I got this because I wanted a whole house meter, but this is better.
You may also want ISO today (to see the current CO2 production), and a kill-a-watt device from Amazon.

Stopped working
Data synced up only until Feb 2018
It works. Pge is probably the creator of the bad reviews.
I wonder whether pge is fixing these reviews. Seriously, the app is close to flawless. Of course I wouldn’t necessarily do the ui like that, but it works and will really give you a ton of information and a quick way to establish which plan is ACTUALLY better (not the online bs that pge hands you). So good job and keep up the good work.

1 Year free, then a very expensive subscription.
Work well for first year, make the subscription service reasonable.
A dollar a year for thousands of users is better than 5 users for $1.99/month.
