My Photo Safe acts as a secure vault to lock and hide your private photos and videos. It uses a decoy password feature to display a fake album, keeping your real media completely hidden. The app also offers auto-lock functionality and various management tools.
The decoy password allows you to set up a separate, fake password. When this password is used, a decoy album is displayed, which can contain different photos. This provides an extra layer of privacy, as your most sensitive images remain hidden behind your primary, secret password.
Yes, you can back up your photos securely by connecting your own cloud storage services like iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox. This ensures that your private media is safe even if you lose your device or uninstall the app.
The app is free to download and use, but it offers in-app purchases and may display ads. These purchases likely unlock premium features or remove advertisements, providing an enhanced experience for users who need more advanced functionality or a completely ad-free environment.
After importing photos into My Photo Safe, the originals are not automatically deleted from your device's public camera roll. The app only performs the import operation, leaving the original files in their original location unless you choose to delete them manually.
