User reviews

Does it do anything?

I cannot even add a restaurant. No user friendliness. It is just a mirror of Google maps, with no other functions for me.

Prove me wrong and I’ll change my review.

Good app, almost great app

I usually don’t leave reviews, but there’s nowhere else I could find to give feedback, so here I am. This is a really easy to use app, great to track restaurants I’ve been to and add notes quickly. I like that I can add places I want to try without having to put in an entry. The link to yelp is also super helpful.

That said, there are two functions that are missing that I would’ve expected of any food tracking app.
1. The ability to add pictures in the entries (as well as starting a new line within an entry).
2. The ability to put a 0-5 stars personal rating for each entry that averages for the restaurant (in addition to the yelp ratings, and instead of just repeat and avoid for a place that I’ve tried).
3. Bonus function that would also be helpful- the ability to add tags to restaurants to make search easier.

Hopefully the developer sees this, this app is really useful and it would make things that much better if those things (and a feedback button?) were implemented! Thanks!

Response from developer

Thanks for your support! I have updated the app to allow new lines within entries. I plan to add pictures to entries and enhance filtering in future versions. I'm still on the fence regarding a 0-5 star personal rating system, but thank you for the suggestion. I might end up adding that to a future version, too, but no concrete plans yet. Also, I plan to add a feedback link to a future version. Thanks for your suggestions!

Almost perfect!

I LOVE this app. I love that it’s linked to Yelp and I can easily put in notes for why I should try a place or what I got that I should go again. I’ve become my friend’s go to person for recommendations. PLeASE add a feature that makes it so I can see a list of the places I pinned in a specific region. For example, if I want to see what I’ve pinned in NYC, I have to individually click on each pin on the map- it’s tedious, would be so much better if the list showed just the pins on the region of the map I’m looking at.

Very user-friendly and helpful!

I love that it stores the date, location by map, which meal, and any notes you want to add. Great for food journaling!

Thanks for your support!

Really bad

Absolutely no flexibility; can’t add photos not sure what this “try, repeat and avoid ; just a very weird app.

There is a need for an app to log your dining experiences that you can search the mat by location at photos at comments etc. etc. etc.

Response from developer

I'm sorry to hear that you did not like my free app. I taught myself to code and wrote this app as a hobby. I plan to add photos and different filtering in future versions.
