Review from someone who helped develop the app.
My name is Thomas and I was heavily involved with the creation of My Spark App. This app is still in its early stages so things are subject to change, but so far it’s looking to be a quality tool for helping people with their mental health.
Here’s my thoughts on the app from what I tested.
Pros:
▪️Simple UI that easy for beginners to use.
▪️Spark Wall where you can view and comment on other user’s posts.
▪️Motivational Quotes.
▪️The ability to track feelings.
▪️Habits and Habit Tracking.
▪️Achievements.
Cons:
▪️Occasional Typos.
▪️Incompatible with some Wi-Fi connections (from what I tried).
▪️Limited flexibility to selecting times when adding your own habits.
▪️“Saved Quotes” page has no link to find them when they are no motivational quotes saved. It would also be better if we got a new quote each day.
There’s a lot that can be improved but the app is still a step in the right direction. I hope this ends up being a useful tool for people’s mental health.
