Not my-story, AI-story!!

Dear Developers,

I have been playing My Story for a while, and I really liked it! But now there it has changed: it has more AI, more updates, and other stuff! I respect other people who like the updates but I do not like them. Can you change it back to the way it was before the updates, please? If you do not know what I mean, I mean if you can change it back to the original version like from 2 years ago. Thank you!

Finally the Page Manager is fixed! Just one feature to add!

Last time I was making a novel called Follow That Car, but the Page Manager (or the purple book button, which I called it last time.) always kicks me out. But now, this update made a great bug fix! Now, I can finally use the Page Manager! And one feature to add in this app is the read-aloud button! If you want to view your story that you made, you can click the read aloud button! You can even have Siri or other voices (including AI) read it to you. Developers, please add this feature. Thank you!!!

Love this app!!

I have to make stories, they have good stuff, added images, I like this app than Night Zookeeper. They have some old comments, like in 2010s, and medium year comments.

Why does this app always kicks me out???

I was trying to make a book about animals, but when I press the purple book button, it glitches and kicks me out again and again. It is really annoying because of those bugs!!! Those developers need to fix this purple book button now. I am getting sick and tired of this app.

Creative

I quite like this game, because of the amount of creativeness that I can show off. I love making new books so that I can draft on here and then make the actual thing after in real life. I like the magic book one because if I’m stuck it can help nudge me over to an idea. Overall a really good game you’ve added lots new stickers and pictures from the last time I played. Another good thing is that you don't have to pay to get something and there is no adds.

Audio no longer works

My little one enjoyed this app for a while. We can not figure out why the audio recording no longer works

The app would be great if it would stop crashing and glitching. It’s difficult to use on an iphone. My larger screens are non-Apple so… I’ve had the basic (free) My Story app for a few years and even made a couple of cool books for our preschool class. I now have a grandson and wanted to make books of our adventures together, since storytelling helps brain development, so I opted for the paid version. From what I can see there are no advantages so far. So disappointing.

So bummed!

My son loves this story maker. Huge problem is there are no people of color depicted in the professionals stickers. Entirely white washed in images.

Hi mom's minute, you're so right. I hadn't caught this before. Even though I was able to find sticker packs that depicted PoC in faces and fantasy scenarios, the professional jobs stickers pack that I acquired is not diverse at all. I will work on improving this in the near future!

Doesn't behave modern iPhones

There are buttons behind the camera and there are no guides or bounding boxes to show where content goes. We hit view, and all of the images and text are cut off. It turned into a guessing game we couldn't win.

My daughter loves the app

She creates stories with her LEGO and it’s excellent for creativity and imagination. Unfortunately, one of the more recent stories she created does not work. She is not able to view it. It does have a lot of pages but the recordings on each page aren’t long. It downloads the story but then it gets stuck and keeps spinning and spinning.

Audio not working

We can’t hear the recording on the pages. You can increase and decrease the volume, but nothing happens.

Worth it!

Love the game. My little sis has loved it to. I am so glad there is allowed more then one created of books. If you have not done that my sis could of have to use my account. Thanks you game is wonderful. I am assuming that you will make lots of updates. Sounds like you just did,but I do not know ‘cause I only got this game a few days. Than you.

It’s amazing and it’s really great for kids

It does grown-up checks to make sure that a grown-up is sharing or going to the grown-up section they make it really easy to add your kid it makes it also really easy to learn how to do it it has safe tools and stickers it doesn’t have any bad influences to your kids and it’s ad free they also have a video on how you can use it it’s also great for teachers to even know the My Story app is free there are no ads involved they make it really easy to operate you can monitor their books and what they’re making by just clicking on their profile it’s really simple to add a book you can also add subtitles in the grown-up section they help you write a review and you can add more than one author you can choose to add their profile picture my kids love it
