Not Worth the Trouble
My initial excitement after downloading this waned significantly after discovering some very potentially frustrating things about it that caused me to realize that as much as I love the note-taking features of the app, paging from book to book is really a pain. I’m sure there are much better note-taking bible apps out there.

Needs improvement
I like this app it’s a good study, but it needs some improvement especially, when you try to make a sermon the keyboard goes in and out, it hard to change from low case to upper fonts and that gets annoying, I do like the app it could have highlighters to mark the scripture, this is why I’m giving this a two stars when trying to type a sermon, the message function gets very very very frustrating.

Exactly what I wanted!
The best app for Bible for Bible reading, study, and sermon notes. You can look at the verses and record your notes without changing app or windows. Very intuitive to use. Would love to see more Bible versions available.

LOVE THIS APP
GREAT APP FOR WHAT I USE IT FOR. I LOVE THE WAY IT ARRANGES MESSAGES, STUDY AND NOTES. IT REALLY WORKS FOR ME. TRYING TO NAVIGATE THRU THE BIBLE PORTION IS A LITTLE TRYING BUT MAYBE IM NOT DOING IT CORRECTLY. I USE IT EVERY TIME IM STUDYING FOR A MESSAGE OR GETTING READY TO PREACH.
More versions, pls!
The features are great for me being a Bible student, except that there should be more choices for versions...I use NLT & NIV. If these are present, it should have been 5 stars!
The best journaling bible app.
As a scholar, I enjoy journaling in the bible. I spent numerous hours looking for an app that would accommodate my need. This is the best answer I found. I recommend it. The reason I never gave it a 5 star is it's not compatible with my iPhone and no NIV, ESV OR NKJV.
Only KJV
I assumed since this was a paid app it would include at least
a few version options. It only includes KJV. :(. I have never spent $5 on an app so I am very disappointed.

Has potential. No setting option. Could not navigate thru books of bible. No option to delete notes. Ability to add sermon notes and verses was good. Overall very disappointed because it has potential to be very good study tool. Would like refund or update soon!!!!!!!

Cue temporary English Version does not work
I have hanged my review! The developer contacted me and after much time and effort found the problem with the version not loading and hanging up. This seems to have fixed the problem.
This is a comprehensive app that when working right ( 8-) ),
Has the ability to quickly search for verses, color code favorite verses, color code by topic, like commandments, promises, etc.
The color coding is not intrusive, it is a color chip that is obvious but not in the way.
You have the ability to take sermon notes and link verses referenced in the sermon. Time, place, speaker are also options.
The ability to study and cross reference in terms of linking verses and having the comments about verses stay with the verse even when changing the bible version. Nicely done! Thanks Bob for sticking to it and finding the problem and fixing it. 8-)

Exactly what I was looking for...
... In an iPad bible app. When I'm at church or at bible study, I don't want to keep paging back and forth between the bible and my notes. With an iPhone app, you don't really have the real estate, but this is for an iPad! I always wanted a side-by-side bible text and note space, and so far I haven't seen any other apps put it together like this one.
In the recent update, now I don't have to only read the KJV... Which is awesome! Did I want to pay $7 for that upgrade? No not really, but hopefully that's just the cost of licensing to the developers.
No, this app isn't the prettiest. The user interface isn't exactly what you might call "effortless" or "natural" but once you fiddle around with it, you can figure it out. There is a lengthy wordy tutorial, but as a note to the developers, some picture examples might be helpful too.

Side note: I'd rather have 1 typing style for all my notes than have 5 different heading styles that I'm never going to use, so that I can tap anywhere in my notes and easily change what I wrote.

Very good app!
I am still learning all the features, but so far it is way ahead of other study bible apps that I have tried. I would like to see a few more versions such as ESV, NKJV and TLB for ease of adding additional readings. I think it would also be helpful to be able to add notes not linked to verses in the Bible Study section. perhaps a separate section for notes like there is for Favorites. This will be a very useful app!

I really need the other versions of the bible such as the NIV version or the Message Bible version. PLEASE have this available with a FREE upgrade soon!!! I was disappointed when I bought this and did not have this available.
Great, BUT..........
The reason I did not give this a five star is because you still have to type in your notes. It would be much better if one could write you notes with your fingers or a stylos right next to the verse.
Please try to write an update that will enable user to WRITE notes instead of typing.

Thank you for this bible study app. I just purchased this app and truly appreciate the thought put into the design. This is adaptable in so many ways I can see endless possibilities to assist in my bible study. Positively worth the reasonable cost and worthy of all five stars!
