Needs updating
This has been a great app but it’s now badly in need of an update to reflect the recent stage 3 tax cuts.
It’s been 3 years since the last update so I hope Anthony at Squared is still keen on supporting the app.
I’d even be happy with a paid version because it’s that good

Great app
Very handy app for calculating pay and tax withheld. Can you please update the HELP repayment tables? Such a useful app!
Tax for Retired
I have used this program until I retired at 70 I found it very very helpful but now I’m a self funded retiree in her 8O’s and still use it but because my income is very low I seem to be entitled to a tax offset of$2300, this does not seem to appear in your program as I always get more tax back that your program shows.
Your program is really helpful and easy to use so thank you for all the help I got.

Best App on The App Store
I absolutely love this app and very much hope that it continues to be updated and supported.
Needs to be updated
This calculator does not appear to have been updated for a while therefore tax rates are not current, if not current then app is of little benefit.

Frustrating
This app will not let me type in the figures into the boxes, it just keeps flashing to zero when I try to put a number in. Please fix

Don't bother
Wasted $8.50. This app is ridiculous.. It is not user friendly.. The biggest problem is that there is no way to get in contact with anyone to help if you are having a problem.
My business does not have gst on items sold (food) yet when I try to fill out a bas statement I get a totally different answer because I cannot adjust the set up of bas.
Get with it guys. I should be able to ask questions and get answers if you want to sell this app.

Problems with iPhone5
Unable to enter anything in the fields on iPhone5….works fine on iPhone4S and iPad…Hope you can fix it….great app until now
Contacted Developer and got response within an hour….continued to be in email contact and a work around was found within 2 hours….
Great support and a fix is being worked on. Once again top marks for the App and its support is first class

Great app
After trying lots of the different tax apps in the app store I caved and paid the extra. Finally I have found one that is accurate. Its also great to see the history of updates so I know I will keep getting support (hoping there is an iPhone 5 update coming soon!)
Wow super accurate!
I am so amazed that of all the apps that i bought, this is the ONLY app that is really 100% accurate on tax withheld calculator. I used ato website to calculate our payroll for our worker. I compare the result on ATO website calculator and amazingly 100% accurate. I try to re calculate my previous payroll and yes its perfect no dollar deference. I bought a lot of tax app, but only this app is very useful and accurate and full of information. Love it

Excellent implementation of common tax calculations
There's no doubt that if you're doing any number of common tax calculations this application is a real time saver, (a) because it's easy to use with almost no learning curve (b) it's interface is well set out. Even if you're not doing calculations on a regular basis the curiosity factor in seeing various iterations of tax liability is worth the expense of this application.

Essential app for accountants
I didn't know what to expect, i haven't bought many apps before. As an accountant this is the essential application purchase. It has so many handy calculators that i am now using this on an almost daily basis. Even just having the rates table handy with me wherever i go is worth it.
I can also see some of my smaller clients using them to assist them running their small business with the GST calculator, BAS worksheet and PAYG calculator.
I haven't regretted getting this at all.

Excellent Application - Getting Better All the Time

I reviewed the 1.1 version and gave it 4 stars. Since then there have been a number of major improvements especially the BAS calculator based on user input. It is a still relatively basic but will do the job for most people.
The app works well with support being <24 hours always. Anthony is responsive to user input, and unlike many other apps, he really does try to make it right for the user.
There is only a minor issue with the numeric keyboard in that there is no full stop/period but as Anthony rightly points out, most calculations are rounded up or down by the ATO. The only time one would need to use the period is in the GST calculator - maybe something can be done there??
Anyway - worth the money - it saves me time, I can do my BAS and GST calculations anywhere - the support is great too!

Fantastic app!
As an accountant this app is a very useful and timesaving tool! Not only does it work out things such as calculating PAYG withholding on wages, but it does it quickly and accurately. It offers many other useful tools which are available right at my fingertips! Say goodbye to ATO calculators and rate tables!!!

Expensive but worth it!
I've tried a few of the tax apps available, tax calc paye and Australian tax calculator which were cheap but difficult to use and sometimes getting the wrong result. After tring better buy from this developer and liking it I thought I'd risk the money and try my tax. It isn't cheap but it's worth it! It works, looks professional and does lots of extra, calculating salary sacrifice and GST. No regrets here from spending the extra to get accurate results! Looking forward to updates and hoping the developer sticks to his word...
