App not working
Facing an issue where the app will not working. The map displays a blank page, and the issue temporarily resolves only after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. However, the problem reoccurs after a few minutes, requiring the same process again. Please provide a permanent solution for this issue. At the very least, a bug fix is urgently needed. Please address this issue promptly.

This is barely an MVP, basic functionalities don’t work reliably. This is a shame for Volkswagen brand that they can’t roll out a user friendly functional app. This just ticks boxes but does not meet requirements. You should have just told users remote monitoring is not available, rather making this excuse of an app. It’s the same case with your VW play in car entertainment, the apps there have not been updated for ages.

Pathetic technology
I got Jio 4G dongle and connectivity with My Volkswagen Connect app when I bought my Virtus in 2022. The app and dongle worked fine for couple of months only. After that it had never worked and I’m tired of mentoring this to the service centre every time I visit for car service and they just don’t seem to understand the issue and it remains unresolved. It’s hard to imagine that Volkswagen is using such pathetic technology when brands like Hyundai are so advanced with their apps and technology.

Useless App
This has to be the most ridiculous apps ever made. A company of VW stature, could not fix this pathetic app. This app is sluggish, hardly a time when the app gives real time data and keeps logging you out. There was no efforts put in to develop this app or do improvements. No bug fixes, no UI updates etc. Requesting VW to look into this pathetic app and change the developers. This app badly needs improvements.

Location tracker not working
There has always been a problem with the car’s dongle, but of late I do not even get notifications when the engine starts or leaves a geofence area! Please look into these bugs and fix these problems.
I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but to no avail!
Really a huge disappointment for such a prestigious name such as Volkswagen to be having such poor app…

Unreliable
1. Stops showing location every now and then and regularly requires re-installation,
2. Location map is not detailed enough
3. Panning for reference points on the map is extremely difficult when the car is moving as the map re-pans to centre on the car with every refresh cycle every second.

Full of bugs and poor performance
I really struggle to open this app in iPhone. It always initialises after opening and can’t connect to server most of times. Don’t know why developers are not releasing fixes. This app is good for nothing. Due to this initialising issue, I can’t use it when in need. Overall a disgusting experience! I’ll stop using this anymore.

This is probably the worst app
This app was working till sometime back, now when I try to login the OTP is going to some other number.
How can such an issue happen. I’m not able to use the app, track the car or anything else. Best is not to give this option when buying the car.
There is no customer care to talk to nor anyone to support. Why would you even have this ?

MyVolkswagen is a disaster.
MyVolkswagen is a disaster. The app is a labyrinth of confusion, making it impossible to find any useful information. The real-time updates are more fictional than accurate, leaving users in the dark about their car’s status. The outdated interface is a nostalgic trip making the whole experience a painful journey. It’s a prime example of how not to design a car monitoring app. Also the app very rarely works at times.

Not working at all
Most of the people here are already stating that the app doesn't work, but still I hope Volkswagen will take this issue seriously as it is big security risk for Vehicle. App doesn't connect to any of the service not sure why. Map is blank, doesn't show if car is moving or not nothing.
Please find permanent resolution on this as soon as possible as this is concerning area for customers.

Alerts from My Volkswagen app
Alerts ( both sound & message) from my Volkswagen app in my Apple I 14 phone on screen lock condition suddenly stopped. Tried various setting, reinstalling the app etc but no results. It was working perfectly fine & since last two days suddenly stopped.
The I phone is now on iOS 16.7.1

Almost a month app not working
App only opens. No tiles are working. If you contact customer care they says that it may take another month to rectify.
Map loading issue is fixed
Finally your development team fixed map loading issue after sending an email to customer support. But I received call from service centre to bring my car to service centre to check. I hope this is not required now. I will share my feedback more after 2 weeks of using this app.
Google map not working on VW app
The most important thing in this app is the car tracker option which works by showing the location of the car on the map. Here the map itself is not showing anything and is blank with just an icon of the car. No way to tell where the car’s location is.
Need immediate resolution for this as there is no way to contact the developer or report this problem. Going on since 2 months now.

Simply Poor
Though a lot of reviews are already there stating how the app is poor in various ways and how it needs a lot of improvement and, I cannot see a single response from developers addressing specific issues or an effort to make an improvement and yet I give another try in the hope that the company or the developers may heed to the overwhelming feedback from their customers.
The app is simply poor in its user experience. Calling it basic would be an overstatement. The purpose of the app seems to be only to enable a salesperson to say to prospective customers that they too have a connect app like the other manufacturers. The only thing this app provides is the trip details which in all probability it collects from maps. It doesn’t even provide fuel consumption for each trip. It doesn’t provide you with total kms clocked by car, doesn’t provide you with option to lock or unlock remotely. Even the fuel logs have to be logged manually.
When compared to similar apps of other manufacturers, this app is a shame. Would be really nice if the company would take the feedback of so many of their customers and try to do something about it, which so far seems like a lot to ask for.

App no longer works with Iphone
When it used ti work, it was very helpful. And then suddenly stopped working. It is more than 3-4 months no bug fix. No effort to make it work by the team, makes it extremely difficult. It is no longer usable. I don’t know who to blame, the service advisor who told me about this feature and gifted me this, the developers, the owner of the app or the company skoda india.

Buggy and requires a lot of rework
1. Trips only shows today trips as default. It has filters to select 7 days or 30 days but you can’t set them as defaults. 2. Some of car health parameters like engine temperature in numerals, ambient temperature is mostly not displayed, sometimes they do. 3 vehicle running info on home page has dial display and numbers both of these don’t seem to synch.

App does not open
I think the developers need to make the app compatible with new ios releases. Overall usability needs to be improved. Things are not smooth. I had to re-install app as it crashed again and again last few months. Also loading time is high too.
App stopped working
Hello, the app has stopped working in the last one month. When I open the app, the dashboard is stuck at loading (the processing animation keeps running), and this does not allow any of the menu options or buttons to work. I do get the alerts around geo fences. Please fix this.

Needs a lot of work
The app does not connect at all. I do get notifications but I mostly get wrongly notified about night time fence being breached. Also the app just keeps sitting at the home page, I do not see the name of my car and I cannot click anywhere on the icons in the app.
