My main complaints are being able to choose the English title by default, and seeing what platform(s) the titles will be available on. Another thing is I think separating complete seasons makes things more difficult they should be under one tab and be able to separate in there.
Option for notes
I like the current app, but is it possible to add the option to add/edit notes for series on our lists? Similar to the notes feature on the myanimelist website.

like i love the app i really do but the reason why people don’t get it is because it’s not easy to use, there’s a lot of things i would change with the layout please make your app better
Needs work
App doesn’t launch half the time. I constantly get stuck on the startup splash page unless I delete and reinstall the app.

Super hard to log in
Logging in on this app takes like 20 minutes and is ridiculously laggy, slow and so much more to the point where longing in feels like literal torture.

I love this app—it’s genuinely amazing. So why the two-star rating if I’m saying that? Well… the performance is a big issue. The app lags a lot—and I mean, really badly. It gets especially frustrating when I’m trying to add anime to my list, only for the app to completely shut down after five minutes (or more) of use. Then I have to reload it and start over, which gets annoying fast.
I don’t think this is an issue with my phone—it’s fairly new, and all my other apps run perfectly fine. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t perform nearly as well.
Please look into this, devs!

Disappointed
When I went to go sign up I signed up through my Facebook and then did the process verifying my email. After a process when I finally got logged it agreed to terms and everything I get hit with an error saying that I can’t sign up at this time. Try again later
Has been the exact same since I was a kid
Ever since I was a kid in the early 2000s this website has looked the exact same and has been just as tedious since the beginning. the app is no different, besides it being worse
App is poorly designed
I try to go to a specific episode - some of these shows have 1000+ - and as I scroll it seems to be uber sensitive and it closes my progress on it.

English titles
The app does not have a way to switch to English titles like the website does. The app also hides all 18+ content so you have to use the website to track that.
There also seems to be a memory leak somewhere because the app crashes after you open and close a bunch of shows (for example if you are looking for the English titles). The app starts slowing down and then content stops loading completely and then the app finally crashes. It takes quite a few shows to make this happen though, 50-100, and it usually lasts another 20 before crashing.

Needs English Titles Option
This really needs to have an option to display the English titles of anime and manga like their website. Really makes it difficult to find the titles in my list through the app and have to just go back to using the website instead.

Slowest app ever
My god this app is by far the slowest app to open. It takes at minimum 30-60 seconds to open from the main screen. This is a database app, why does it take so long to load??
Notifications Broken
I used this app to track new releases which seems to work fine on desktop and send emails just fine but for new episode releases the notifications do not work. I had to switch to an app that is based on Anilist for new episode airing notifications.
