Modernization 🎉

Love the modernization efforts. User-friendly and highly functional although some areas non-responsive. Please include Dark Mode and otherwise hoping the app is frequently updated for optimization. Thank you for helping us members have a convenient tool to use away from workstations!

Digital Navy

The digital Navy is finally here. This is a great app for all sailors. You can write and review feedback, notes, submit, leave requests, and manage training packages. Looking forward to the updates in the expected release of myCAF App.

Great app - very useful

Love that we are entering the modern era and able to do this stuff from mobile devices. Would be nice to be able to see previous Pace notes, not just those requiring acknowledgment.

Doesn’t work

On my iPhone it shows only 2 languages selector, but no other button to submit my choice. It doesn’t zoom in or out. Unable to proceed to it.

Hello Mr. Blue Mr. Green, After some testing, we can confirm that certain display settings (larger text size in phone settings) on iOS can cause the "continue" button after language selection to be lost. We will include a fix and send it with the next update, which should be pretty soon. Once the issue is resolved, I will follow up here. If there are other questions or concerns, please feel free to email myrcn.support@forces.gc.ca Just a follow up. The issue you were reporting shoul dnow be fixed.

This app is confusing

Who is this app for? Is it potential recruits? Is it for sailors? It’s trying to do too many things.. and why are there QR codes? I need a separate phone to scan the QR code in the app?

This app should just be for the HR side, everything else is just noise.

Hello Alexbakesapie, This application is primarily focused on providing serving members access to tools and services to manage their naval lives easier. If you're a serving member, all of these tools are available after the secure sign-in. Otherwise, on the un-authenticated side, we try to provide as many resources as possible to non-serving members. As for the QR code, it can actually be tapped and copied if desired, but tapping anywhere else on the card will open to the same url.
