Simple and works well
This app works well. However, joining a new project from my phone is a pain The app forces one to scan a QR code from an internet site, but won’t allow one to use a screenshot of that QR code. Therefore, I can’t join a project until I locate a computer or waste a piece of paper.
Very useful
Great tool for collecting data directly from study participants and for staying connected.
For a researcher, this is wonderful
I am a professional health researcher, who uses MyCap to collect data from participants via their own phones. This app is such a clever implementation of Apple’s ResearchKit framework and utilises the excellent REDCap data collection platform. Usually, having an app developer to design an app specifically for a study will cost the University (and therefore finder, which is often public money) several thousand dollars. Not only does this app save this cost, but it allows researchers to modify the app without needing much knowledge about programming. Congratulations to the developers, especially Jonathan Swafford on such a great solution.

Worthless.
A nice idea, too bad it doesn’t work. I repeatedly tried to scan the code it doesn’t work there’s the alternative initialization code but there’s no way to enter it. Hopefully these people will finalize and make it useful. Right now it’s worthless.
QR reader issue
Everytime I try to acan the barcode, it always states it cant be found.
