Please make an icon compatible with iOS 26 Liquid Glass, and make the UI less clunky: there are a lot of pages with black bars on the top and bottom, and the profile picture circle touches the header.

Latest version still cuts off my audio to my AirPods when I open the app but the day the transfer completed messages are now coming again I no longer locking up my phone endlessly for transmission that never completes

This latest version is getting stuck on the data transfer: I enter my data, and I'm not ever getting the data transfer completed. I am currently very busy being the on-call person for work and cannot afford to leave my phone trying to upload for many minutes on end. This is a brand new update today, literally it asked me if I wanted to update before I entered today's data and I did, and it is still showing the same behavior, stuck on data transfer. At least it was letting me into the study area so that I could attempt to enter data, and not crashing over and over on getting to the Study area.
But it's been a couple of minutes with the "please don't close the app while we're trying to transmit the data" message and now I need to check on something else so I left the app in my "current" app group and did not close it, I'm here writing this review out of frustration.
The app does also say that it is "resending saved data"each time I open it and click on my study, but it seems like it is not getting the data to where it needs to go because this is happening each time I bring the app to the front and click on my particular study, whether or not I have closed the app or just shuffled around among the apps that are open in the background.
I've had this problem with slow data transmission through the previous iteration and this one, on home network and work network and I think on cellular data as well as Wi-Fi. but being completely unable to transmit any data no matter what network is a new problem. Zero success since the update.
with the assistance of my study coordinator, I just deleted, re-downloaded, and re-entered my study information and it first said it was checking on status of my entries, and then it told me that I have overdue task for the last seven days.... after I just spent 10 minutes entering five days overdue study diaries and let the app stay in the "transferring data" until my phone timed out.

Current version is unusable
After the latest update, every time I try to open this up to enter my trial diary for the day, it crashes multiple times as I'm trying to open my study. It takes up to several minutes to actually be able to get it to open and run. This version is a buggy piece of garbage. Using latest iOS software, iPhone currently on 18.3.1.
I have loved the simplicity of using this app overall, although it has long been frustrating because it is designed for a larger phone screen than mine and does not purposely adapt to the small screen that is comfortable for my hands. But now it is so badly messed up.

This version is too slow and buggy
MyCap previous version, that was re-titled mycap classic, actually worked. This version is a pile of excrement. I do absolutely nothing by audio or voice control with it, and yet it notably drops the volume of the podcast I am listening to.... which really accentuates the ridiculous length of time that it takes to finally open up to where I can enter data for my study. This is not ready for primetime release that needs to be recalled in the MyCap classic restored until they get this one actually functional. It takes 10 times as long to enter my daily data. it also makes it much harder to tell whether or not I really did forget to enter yesterday's notes.

The primary problem continues to be that it is so slow making the connection once I select my project and I'm trying to get to the point where I can enter the data that my lock screen times out and locks the phone. When I unlock the screen, even if I do it immediately, I am taken back to the selecting project screen so it never has a chance to get to the actual daily diary data entry.
