the app won’t tell you if the driver will be taking a break, so you might wait at your stop for 20 minutes waiting for the bus to come even though it still says it’s 2 minutes away

Drivers sometimes don’t wait till the set departure time, I’ve literally seen the bus leave 5min to the set departure time just because another citybus was parked at the bus stop, guess what? That was extra 30min wait time for me. Also, the bus closes too early and I believe this should have been effectively communicated to users who are used to using a bus that closes at 9 not closes at 7pm. Not fair

HORRIBLE. Horrible. It somehow always crashes when you need it and you simply can’t see when/where the buses are. Not reliable at all, don’t plan anything around the buses. Super frustrating. When it works it’s fine, but a bus app that works half the time is not great. And the bus will just stop mid route sometimes and it’s so annoying.

lost function of balls
it was -7 degree out, and the bus past me 3 mins before the app said it would arrive. the next bus just skipped the stop entirely. i had to walk to class and my balls froze.

Phantom busses that are supposed to be “due” but aren’t even on the road? It is only useful if you have a lot of time on your hands and can sit around and wait. Drivers are nice though.

This app is terrible. If I could give it 0 stars I would. It’s sent me to a non-existent bus stop multiple times, has showed different times than what was actually scheduled. Whoever made this app lied on their resume and needs to be fired.

This app is so hard to use plus it do t even work half the time smh. Im currently waiting on a bus that said would be here in 15 min and it’s going on a hour now smh

This app is terrible. There is no back arrow, you have to close and reopen the app. Also, there is construction which changes some routes. If you just look at the route, it knows about this. However, if you use the feature that tells you the best ways to get to a destination, it immediately forgets about the construction and can tell you to use stops that are no longer in service. 👎

It’s not that bad…
I have to offset the one other review on here. No the city bus app does not use gps tracking to show you where the buses are in real time. Instead a simple schedule for when the bus should arrive and any given stop along the route is given. You show up a little early then your on time and won’t miss the bus.

Defunct and replaced
Hi this app has been totally blank for two entire days, displaying white spaces with no words or backgrounds. Is the app defunct and replaced by another app?

This app is great! I love it to death its perfect for public transport. But for some reason when I open the app now it is just blank. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times, and it still doesn’t work … \_{-.-_/ please fix it if you can? It’s such a handy public transport app and I rely on and a lot of people do too.

CityBus app is rarely useful
This app is terrible. It only ever loads up half the time. If you are lucky enough for it to open it rarely ever shows the routes. If you are lucky enough for the routes to show they are never accurate.
Stupid idiot app
Literally 70% of the time the expected arrival time of the bus is completely wrong. This has costed me so much time of my life that I can not get back. You are better off trying to catch a ride from Santa
Late/missing bus
Buses are often very late.
Even with real time tracking, the buses will often disappear from the map and never show up.
Specifically the 5 is pretty aweful in terms of tracking.
