Overall, I think this app is useful and would be best targeted towards very environmentally conscious people. It's amazing to use the app and then become aware of how much you waste. However, I don't know how many people my age would download it and have time or even remember to enter everything into the app. However, I think it's a great start and fantastic idea!

While this app is easy to use and easy to understand it's very easy to cheat. It would take a person very committed to tracking their carbon emissions to use this app as everything must be entered manually. Likewise there are only set items to choose, you can't enter your own actions. So while I would be curious to see my reduced carbon emissions I couldn't stay committed to tracking it with this app.

Good idea but may be hard to keep up with
I think the app is a great way to make a consumer aware of their choices and make them take responsibility for their actions. The idea is great, however I don't think I could necessarily keep up with it as easily as I can keep up with a food or exercise tracking app (which are easier to use in my opinion). I think the app is a great tool to spread awareness and I do believe something like this will be more popular as people get more educated about the environment and want to take action.

Good idea, may need improvements
I think that an app to track individual’s carbon footprint is a great idea, especially because this is a growing issue that is continuing to gain more awareness. People are now realizing how much their actions are having a detrimental effect on the environment. A majority of people know that their actions are harmful, yet they don’t know what they can do to help the problem. This app provides a great resource to educate people on the impacts of their decisions and what they can do to help.
One problem with this app however, is that it may grow tedious to use. It’s a great idea, but having to constantly take time out of busy schedules to individually enter in all the data will grow tiresome. There may need to be improvements made to make this process easier, otherwise it is likely that use will be high when first downloaded and then steadily taper off.
