Not user friendly or intuitive
I've never reviewed an app before. That's how awful this one is. It's so bad I had to write a review. Please do keep on mind this is for the app itself, not the concept or the recipes, etc. The app is just awful. I don't understand why I cannot open a recipe, no matter how I find. It's illogical. I build a meal plan, go to that meal plan and I cannot open and view any of the recipes I saved. Same if I just use the search bar. The only way I can actually open a recipe to view is if I go scroll through all of the chicken recipes or all of the ground beef recipes, etc to find what I'm looking for. This shoddy, poor quality, and very obviously thrown together just for the sake of being able to say that there is an app. Again, this is not an indictment of the concept, recipes, etc. Just this frustrating app.

Horrible Support - Horrible for Apple Products
I use my iPad for everything! That said, this subscription is ok if you use the offered meal plans as is but to try to modify them or make your own is basically impossible. When you try to access the FAQ section about support for mobile apps and devices you are redirected to the sign in page - no help given for those of us who ARE MEMBERS and trying to use the service. I periodically try to use the service, get frustrated, and decide to try again later - an infinite loop it seems. I wish they would just fix EITHER THE WEBSITE OR THE APP support menu selections for my iPad so I could get some good out of my $77. If this is not corrected before my subscription is due to renew I AM DONE!

Love the idea
I love the concept and the recipes. The all in one shopping list is AMAZING. Zero waste. However the technology really needs work. The website and app never work right. I keep checking back to see if things have changed, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem they have gotten any better.
Great app—idiot reviewers...
First, this app does exactly what it says it will—gives me access to the menu ideas, recipes, and shopping lists I need right in the palm of my hand, which is great when you’re in a hurry.
Second, who downloads an app with “In-App Purchases” and doesn’t look to see what they are?? Likely the same people who build IKEA furniture without the directions and are shocked it comes out wrong. It’s very clearly stated that there are subscriptions, if you don’t want one, choose some other app. If you want lots of choices on types of recipes based on protein preference or cooking method, this is your best choice.
My suggestion, after several subscription issues through Apple apps, is to create your account on a computer (or otherwise through a web browser), and then use your login to access the app. I did so, and have zero problems with this app.

Do NOT Use This App!!!
This app is absolutely terrible! I was very excited to find out that I could continue my education on freezer dump meals but to find this app will try to tie you into a subscription but yet not allow you to use the app. Do not create a subscription because it will tie you into a monthly fee!!!

Unfortunately I can’t even use the app. I just keep getting a message that says “invalid token”. That stinks because the screenshots look like this app has a lot of potential to be a lifesaver for this expecting mum - I wouldn’t have been opposed to paying a subscription either. What a bummer!
MyFreezEasy subscription made simple!
I love the fact that I can access my subscription to MyFreezEasy right on my phone (no more leaving my list at home!)

This is an awesome app. You do need a subscription which if you have been on her site tells you that. Great step by step videos and I like having the shopping list in my hand on my phone.

No where does it mention that you need to pay a subscription. It failed as soon as I got to the subscription. HORRIBLE APP!
Subscription is required although not advertised
Seriously I read the description and it mentioned in app purchases but didn't say they were required. I proceed to download to get a feel for the app, enter my login/join information. Then it hits me with the subscription dead end. Do not download this app!!! Do not create a login/account!!! Don't trust any app you can't test drive. Negative one star...
