What's New in MYG

3.4.3

September 8, 2026

New in this release • The app now tells the truth about being offline. Anything that needs the internet is greyed out with a note saying it will work again once you reconnect, so an RSVP or a save can't look like it went through when it didn't. • A red line marks how far along an event's agenda is while it's underway, and opening the event scrolls straight to it, so what's happening now is the first thing you see. • Offices can be retired without losing the record — archiving one keeps every term ever served in it and can be undone. A term can also be corrected after the fact, dates and label, instead of ending it early and starting a new one. • A calendar can be given its own time zone, which is what officer terms are dated against. Terms used to start and finish an evening early; existing ones have been given back the final day they were supposed to have. • Service hour reports can start on any past date, and an open report can be narrowed to a shorter stretch from a bar pinned at the top, with the running total always visible and a breakdown by event. Improvements • Requesting a calendar now asks for the building's full address — street, city, state, ZIP and country — and says plainly it wants the lodge or hall where the group meets, not your home. The address box also refuses a town on its own. • Forms point out everything that needs attention the moment you press the button, instead of naming one problem and then the next after you fix it. • Every button is now the same height and the same rounded pill shape, and text boxes look the same everywhere rather than one style per screen. • A long agenda is easier to work with: each part sits on one line and opens one at a time, dragging to reorder scrolls the form along with you, and Publish stays put at the bottom. • The calendar list checks where you are each time you open it, so after you move the calendars near you are at the top, and "Nearest first" now asks for location access if it needs it. A long calendar name slides sideways rather than being cut off. • Your profile now shows when an address is still waiting to be verified, and after setting up two-step sign-in you're shown your backup codes before you need them. Fixes • Asking for a new confirmation email no longer kills the one already in your inbox. Both messages look identical, so opening the older of the two used to say the link had expired — and while a link is still good the app points you at your inbox rather than offering the button that cancels it. • The back arrow no longer throws away what you typed on the role editor, the office editor, calendar info or your profile — the warning you get when you swipe back never ran for it. Save now sits at the bottom of the role editor rather than below every permission. • Tapping an email address or phone number in someone's contact details now opens your mail app or dialer — every one of them used to fail. • The number beside an event's attendees counts people rather than replies; it included everyone who declined and ignored guests. "Guest count" is now "Additional guests". • RSVPing to one date of a repeating event no longer answers for every other date, and cancelled events no longer ask — any answer already given is kept. • Buttons at the bottom of a popup no longer hide under Android's navigation buttons or the keyboard, and the last row of a long list now scrolls clear of them. • Event details and the "Postponed" and "Rescheduled" notices now follow your phone switching between light and dark on its own. • On an all-day event, agenda times on the final day now run through to 11:59 PM, and times falling outside the event are flagged as you go rather than when you publish. • Recovery codes you'd already saved no longer stop working when an admin re-agrees to texts, and replying STOP is recorded even if the carrier doesn't pass it on.
