New in this release • Suggest a change to an event — members who can't edit events can now propose one. Whoever can edit sees a plain before-and-after of exactly what would change and either applies it or declines with a reason. A suggestion can cover a single date of a repeating event, or a multi-part event's agenda and venues. • Officers and terms — a chapter can set up its offices, install members for a fixed period, and hand the whole slate over in one step when the term turns over. The extra powers an office carries start and stop on their own, so nobody keeps them after they leave the seat. • Multi-part "itinerary" events — a multi-day program with several locations and a day-by-day schedule. Attendees see an agenda grouped by day with each venue tappable to open in maps; sessions that have ended are crossed off and the one happening now is marked "Now". • Smart paste event import — paste your events in any format and the app reads them into events for you. Review and correct every field before anything is created. • The event editor now autosaves — leave and come back and your edits are still there, with undo and redo while you work, and discard to restore the published version. • Add your MYG events to your phone's calendar app. Open Profile → Phone calendar. The events shown follow the calendars you've turned on in MYG, and you can subscribe to individual calendars separately if you'd rather give them their own colours. • Two-step sign-in for everyone. Once your phone number is verified you can ask us to text you a code each time you sign in, and you get one-time recovery codes so losing your phone doesn't lock you out. • Calendars can list their regular meeting schedule, shown on the calendar's page. • Building a role now starts from a preset — basic member, officer, scribe or service hours lead — instead of twenty-odd switches set to off. • Address autocomplete on the calendar request and calendar settings forms. Improvements • The calendar list can be sorted nearest-first or A–Z, groups by the region nearest you, and searching matches a city or state as well as the name. Adding your group's calendar is much easier to find. • Asking to join a calendar now confirms first, tells you what's shared with that calendar's managers, and lets you add a note. A request that was turned down can be cleared once you've read why. • Touch feedback throughout the app, weighted by what you're doing — and a failed action now feels different from one that worked. • Leaving Profile, Calendar info, or a role with unsaved changes warns you first. • A smaller download, and a brand new splash screen — the logo is there from the moment you tap the icon. • Event details now show where an event came from and when it was last updated. • Better screen reader support: buttons that could be read but not pressed now work, search result counts are announced, and headings read as headings. Fixes • When two people edit the same event at once, a save can no longer quietly overwrite the other person's changes. • Cancellation and reschedule notifications now arrive reliably, and all-day event reminders are sent at the right time. • An event moved to a different time on the same day no longer appears twice in the feed, and changing an already-rescheduled event asks whether you're correcting the announced time or moving it again. • Adding an event poster from Files works again on iPhone and iPad. • Panels that ask you to type something no longer get pushed off screen by the keyboard. • The sign-in code box takes either a texted code or a recovery code, and iPhone now offers the texted code above the keyboard. • Replying STOP to a verification text now switches text messages off in your profile too.
