War eigentlich mal richtig gut. Mit der neuen Version ist es aber weit her mit kompletter Anpassbarkeit. Obwohl ich die IAP gekauft hatte. Die Basics gehen. Die Screenshots zeigen leider noch die alte Version.

Für Nutzer die gerne die alte Version weiterhin verwenden wollen gibt es nun die "MyKeyboard Legacy" app. Das ist praktisch genau die vorherige Version, und du hast weiterhin Zugriff auf alle vorherigen Funktionen. Wir haben die neue MyKeyboard app simpler und einfacher gestaltet um sie für eine breitere Nutzergruppe attraktiver zu machen. Gleichzeitig haben wir auch viele neue Funktionen hinzugefügt die es vorher nicht gab und die ganze Tastatur stark modernisiert. Wir geben jedem Nutzer der alten Version die freie Wahl, und werden das auch in Zukunft in einem Update noch klarer in der App darstellen. Nutze gerne die MyKeyboard Legacy app, um die alte Version genau so weiter zu nutzen wie vorher. Grüße, Marco

Seit dem letzten Update mist

Seit dem letzten Update ist die Tastatur für mich quasi nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. ich editiere und schreibe viel am Handy, daher brauchte ich eine Tastatur, die sich möglichst gut anpassen ließ, was mit dieser bis letzten Monat problemlos möglich war. ich konnte ohne extra Tastendrücke Kommas setzen, einen Punkt oder auch Anführungszeichen. Zudem konnte man die nervige Autokorrektur ausschalten. jetzt kann ich nur noch ein Sonderzeichen zusätzlich haben und ständig macht die Autokorrektur mist, was bei Fantasy Texten echt nervig ist. Bitte macht das alles wieder rückgängig!!!

Hi, vielen Dank für dein Feedback! Wir haben gerade eine neue Version veröffentlicht, die Autokorrektur-Einstellungen wieder hinzufügt. Die Autokorrektur und automatische Großkleinschreibung lässt sich nun einfach an oder ausschalten. Wir haben die MyKeyboard app vollständig neu programmiert, um sie einfacher und schneller zu machen, und eine breitere Masse an Nutzern damit anzusprechen. Die alte Version existiert weiterhin als separate kostenlose app. Lade gerne die "MyKeyboard Legacy" app herunter, um deine Tastatur exakt so weiter zu verwenden wie sie vorher war. Wir wollen niemandem Funktionen wegnehmen, das war nie unsere Absicht. Die alte Version der App war leider in der Form nicht langfristig profitabel, da sie zu kompliziert für viele Nutzer war. Die neue Version vereinfacht viele Dinge und fügt viele neue und moderne Funktionen hinzu, aber dafür mussten wir ein neues Konzept erarbeiten welches zwangsläufig einigen vorhandenen Nutzern nicht gefällt. Deshalb haben wir die alternative mit MyKeyboard Legacy geschaffen, um jedem die freie Wahl zu geben.

The new version of MyKeyboard simplified many workflows to make them more attractive to a broader set of users, and we modernized the whole keyboard with new features that have never been possible in the old version. But we fully understand that this might be inconvenient to some existing users of the old version, which is why we give you the choice of which app to use.

Ich bin sehr unzufrieden mit der neuen Version

Bei der neuen Version sind zwei wichtige Punkte für mich verschwunden bzw. ich finde sie auch nicht mehr in den Einstellungen. Der erste Punkt ist: ich kann keine Tasten meiner Tastatur hinzufügen, außer die Funktion, dass ich eine Sondertasten unten rechts definieren kann, was ich dann auch mit der Funktion "," umgesetzt habe, da mir dies sehr wichtig ist. Nun möchte ich wie damals auch weitere Tasten hinzufügen, diese Funktion, wie es sie früher einmal gab, finde ich jetzt aber nicht mehr. Der zweite wichtige Kritikpunkt ist, wie bekomme ich die AutoKorrektur aus, diese korrigiert so ein Blödsinn. Ich gehe davon aus, dass dies noch korrigiert wird. Deswegen hab ich wenigstens zwei Sterne gegeben. Aber wenn eine App früher so gut war, kann ich in meinen Augen auch nicht mehr geben.

Das war leider ein Versehen unsererseits, und diese Einstellungen hätten natürlich von Anfang an da sein sollen. Falls du die alte MyKeyboard app genau so weiter nutzen möchtest wie sie vorher war, kannst du dir die "MyKeyboard Legacy" app kostenlos herunterladen. Das ist praktisch einfach die alte Version von MyKeyboard vor diesem Update.

We paid for access to all the options, but in the end, there isn’t even an apostrophe among the choices we could have in the home page of keyboard. And the most annoying part is that the autocorrect still requires those words even when that option is disabled.

Keys don’t change color anymore when pressed

I bought the paid version and when I tap a key, usually it’ll change to a darker color to indicate that I tapped it, but that isn’t working. I thought that this used to work, but if this was never a thing, please add this. All other keyboards do this, it’s hard to tell if I’m tapping a key and if I am, which key I tapped.

best keyboard app but need small fixes

Hi MyKeyboard team and thank you for the app. it's tge best That I could find and that give you full customised keayboard on Iphone
i just wanna report a small bug that appeared after tge last update.
when we use a word with ' and choose one of the suggested word it put double '
like I'I'm
it happen with all the word that has this symbol '
can you please fix it or advise on how to fix it on my own.

Édit : after waiting for several months without any fix I had to uninstall it and found other free keyboard with the needed customization. An advise moving to your new app with a subscription after paying for this one is juste not worthy

no swiping feature

payed and realized after this keyboard does not have a swiping feature for typing with one hand. I mainly use one hand for work.. disappointing and lost my money.

Very good, but lacks more customization options

Very good, but lacks more customization options and it's rather unflexible if compared to it's competitors when it comes to aesthetics and design.

Unusable. Corrects you incorrectly, over and over and over. Most important features paywalled.

Where to begin? You still can't have a comma. You can't really customize individual buttons. All the most desirable features are paywalled. And the autocorrect? It's absurdly broken. Autocorrects words like "out" to "but". And doesn't learn from your corrections. Doesn't even let you correct it. This keyboard is so broken, unstable, and inconsistent. I also have certain options enabled, like emojis, but they're nowhere to be found when using the keyboard.

Horrible app. Horrible keyboard. Do NOT recommend.

Changing keyboard height

You can drag a slider from 30.00 to 60.00 to change a keyboards rows height but it’s extremely difficult to make all rows the same height unless it’s either the lowest or the highest because if you drag the slider a millimeter it’ll change by like 4.82 or something. Please allow us to input a number from our keyboard instead of just dragging a super sensitive slider

Really good keyboard

I'm not sure what the keyboard was like prior to the update it mentioned from a month ago but it's working really well for me and better than other keyboards I've used. I hope they continue updating te app, there's great themes and customization. I definitely like it more than board and swiftkey. I wish it we easier to find in she app store. The only thing I don't get is how to delete she autocorrect and replace wish my original spelling, it doesn't happen much but seems like it should be possible.

Very interesting, but needs improving

My favorite feature has to be the enhanced backspace which allows you to slide to control how much to backspace. This is much more precise and also fast than normal backspace! Another thing I like is the button to move the text cursor left. Easier than holding the space bar.

Here are some suggestions though: 1. Make the keys offset properly! My muscle memory from the default keyboard layout is completely ruined by the keys being perfectly aligned in a grid formation. 2. More efficient layouts, maybe even custom ones. Like Colemak. 3. Have a preset for a replica layout of the default iOS keyboard. Simpler to start off with, as your muscle memory isn't ruined.

Other than those suggestions (especially the first) this app is very interesting and innovative!

Schlechte Autokorrektur verdirbt eine sehr gute Tastatur

Die Tastatur ansich Ist top, die komplett frei anpassbaren Tasten habe ich bisher nirgendwo anders gefunden. Leider trübt die wirklich grottenschlechte und unvergleichlich fehlerhafte Autokorrektur bzw. Wortvervollständigung das Erlebnis massiv. Es werden Wörter reihenweise nicht erkannt die einen lediglich um einen Buchstaben versetzten Tippfehler haben wie z.b. Aus "uch" wird nicht "ich" korrigiert sondern "UCI". Welches Wort auch immer das sein soll. Die Tastatur ändert Wörter immerwieder, beharrlich und penetrant zu den falschen Vorschlägen wenn man z.b. ein Satzzeichen dahintersetzt. Man muss das Wort mit Leerzeichen beenden und dann manuell den Cursor (Anglizismus, hat er auch beim ersten Mal zu Curare gemacht) an die Stelle bewegen und das Satzzeichen dann einfügen. Man muss so oftmals Sachen zwei oder dreimal korrigieren bis endlich das da steht was man eigentlich schreiben wollte. So fühlt sich das tippen quälend langsam und falsch an weil einem trotzdem Fehler durchrutschen die den Text derart verunstalten und verfremden dass das Gegenüber schon mal fragt was man denn eigentlich meinte. Das war also nichts, schade dabei hatte ich extra für die Anpassbarkeit die Pro Version gekauft. Die Autokorrektur muss also grundlegend überarbeitet werden (hier stand als Vorschlag "wedte" da, was ist das?)

Arbeitet unzuverlässig und unsauber

Tasten der MyKeyboard Tastatur überlappen sich mitunter mit Standardtasten. Ab und an kommt die Tastatur mit ihrer oberen Reihe nicht klar, ab und an schon. Das Layout erlaubt nicht, Einfluß auf die Größe der dargestellten Tasten zu nehmen. Das Löschen von Zeichen arbeitet nicht verlässlich. Die App „vergißt“ mitunter eine selbst zusammengestellte Tastatur, die dann erneut geladen werden muß.

Wenn eine Tastatur, die man ja zwecks Eingabeerleichterung hat, nicht sauber funktioniert, dann ist sie unnötig.

Best keyboard on the App Store

The customization is great, the one-time $14 purchase for pro is refreshing, and the only problems i've had, is that it's slightly unstable and glitchy. I am running ios15 though rather than ios 18, so take that into consideration.
