Helpful

Lexia is such a great program, and this app really helps me keep track of all the students and how they are progressing and who needs extra time. It also has great lessons and worksheets.

Updates when children are on

I work at a school and I would like it to update so that you can see children’s progress even when they are on Lexia .

It’s just they think the kids don’t know anything try to make it to where they can skip the explanation

Why not on phone?

You cannot use it on phone and if the child is trying to do it at home by themself they cannot log in because they do not have a email.

Unfortunately, mobile devices are not supported at this time. The program’s user interface was designed to address the developmental needs of children and requires a greater screen size. The larger type and larger buttons were designed to accommodate young students’ dexterity. The program features various task types that require students to manipulate content and navigate multi-paragraph texts. Additionally, the application requires processing and storage capabilities that are not available or suitable on phones. For students to log in they need their teacher's email address, username, and password. The teacher's email address ensures the student is logging into the correct school site.

Works Great

I’m not sure why this app has so many poor reviews. It works perfectly for me. The only issue I have with it is the issue I have with Lexia: it’s not updated in real-time.

Student Usage Minutes are updated when the student logs out properly with the red x or after 20 minutes of inactivity. Student unit progress is generally updated in realtime, but only if they finish a unit or scaffold to another instructional step.

DONT GET THIS APP

i have to do this stuff at school and i have to do all three (more than an hour) due every sunday , it’s not fair i’m in secondary school and we already get enough homework and we get punished for it.I don’t want to remember my childhood focusing on lexia i do not recommend this👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼also it counts the minutes wrong when i did 20 mins in said i did 10🙄🙄

It’s not the kids app so misleading description

Tried logging on for my 5 year old and doesn’t recognise any details I then read it is for teachers and staff

Terrible app

My child is required to use this app through school. It’s the worst! If you do not have to use this...DON’T. The developers are unresponsive, their tweaks all over the place, it is very very sluggish to use the mouse, it frustrates the child to the point of tears. If they get an answer wrong, (not be because they got it wrong, but because they are unable to drag the word to the correct position) it restarts the entire series and hours into a loooonnnng Explanation on the concept. The child understands but the concept, but continues to get answers incorrect because the app is just plain BAD!

I tried this app to check minutes met by students. It does not update even after I refresh the screen. Lexia website is better and this app is unusable. Too bad.

Seriously?

The log in doesn’t even work! How can I even give it one star if I can’t even try it? I put in EVERY PASSWORD! We do it at school, pans it works fine! I wouldn’t get it until it gets fixed.

Cannot use iPad version with already established login

I have an account for my kid setup by the teacher, but I cannot login from iPad as it asks for an email. No other apps show up when I search for Lexia so I’m at a loss for what to do next.
