I live alone and don’t have family members living nearby. I feel assured knowing that if I ended up in the ER family and friends would be immediately alerted. Also, ER staff would know I am Catholic with instructions to contact my parish priest.

I have been thinking about needing a healthcare power of attorney for my wife and me, and two college kids for awhile now but kept putting it off.
This was easy to setup and like the fact that we have each other’s signed and witnessed protective documents digitally available on our phones. I can send it to anyone with a click and have I have printed a copy as well.
The ER alerts is a great feature. It gives me peace knowing as a dad I will be alerted and know that if something happens I’ll know and will be legally recognized as the decision maker.
In the current reality I know my family won’t be at the mercy of others for life decisions.
