Thank you for trying it and for telling us what happened, and we are sorry it wasted your time. Typing in lyrics and getting nothing back is the one thing this app has to get right. It has since been rebuilt from the ground up and the newest version shipped this week, so it is worth another try if you are willing. Either way, we appreciate the honest review.

Thank you for the feedback, and we are sorry, both for the crashes and for the confusion. To be clear about what it does: this app searches by the words you remember, so it is for the song stuck in your head hours later rather than one playing in the room, which is what Shazam is for. That distinction should have been obvious before you paid, and it was not. The app has since been rebuilt from the ground up. Thank you for reporting this, and we are sorry. A search box that will not summon the keyboard makes the app completely unusable, and you were right to say so. It has since been rebuilt from the ground up in the current version, so that particular failure is gone. We are grateful you described the exact symptom rather than just calling it broken.
