Feedback and echo

I give a major hat tip to this developer for no tracking. AI suggested this app for that reason. Even after changing the settings, though it was horrible feedback and echo. Maybe it’s just me. Might work for you and I encourage this developer to keeping on!

Thank you, that genuinely means a lot, and the no tracking part is staying exactly as it is. You were not doing anything wrong. Feedback is physics: your mic hears the speaker, and the point where it tips over depends on your speaker, the volume, the room and how far apart the two are. That is why no single setting could ever fix it for everyone, and why the old echo slider only really made you quieter. 1.8.0 just shipped with a completely different approach: • Feedback guard listens for the exact frequency that starts to howl and cuts only that one, so your voice and volume stay untouched • Tune to room plays a short test sound, measures your room and sets the level just under the point where it would feed back, then remembers the result for each speaker • If a room still spirals, the mic dips for a moment and comes back at a safe level, and tells you why We dialled this in over dozens of real sessions on real speakers. If you give it another go, I would genuinely like to hear how it behaves in your room.
