Tools work great the app is terrible
Worst app I’ve used for anything can’t even use my probes because this app is terrible.
Probe Are Great, App Not So Great
I am loving the Navac probes so far, the digital display, plus the ability to view on the app is certainly ideal. but I find myself having issues with the app, all the time, including probes, constantly disconnecting from Bluetooth, as well as the app, sometimes glitching out and staying on the screen and not allow allowing touch movements. All in all it is a good concept, but if I had to choose an app interface, I would use Measure quick or fieldpiece app over this even Testos ( even though their probes are junk)

Can’t log on
When the app is working it does a decent job. However, I’ve been trying to logon for 2 days now and can’t, it keeps telling me I have the wrong phone number format and after trying several times and with my email I still can’t get on. I love my NX4G gauges but if NAVAC wants to compete with Fieldpiece they better step up their game on the apps.

Garbage App
Hey NAVAC! Fix this garbage app ! I’m spending thousands on your gear ,the least you can do is put out a proper app, these probes are useless without out it !
Low and high side clamps are reading incorrectly and this app is NOT intuitive at all , get with the 21st century already!! 28 year vet of HVAC industry here !

Quality
Super Glitchy and lags multiple times. Very bad software for an app you need in order to use and change the Freon on the smart Freon Probes.
NAVAC probes
I’ve had the pressure probes and psychrometer for over three months now and I have gotten a lot of issues with them first off one of my probes on my Novak app keeps connecting as a micron gauge and it doesn’t let me pair them all the way up. I also don’t like how the psychrometer don’t show Delta T.

I’ll admit, I was very hesitant to buy this gauge set given all the critical reviews of the app. However, I think enough time has passed between those reviews and now for NAVAC to update and fix the common issues a lot of people were having. Using the app with the probe set is an excellent alternative to using standard hose gauges. The app does everything I need it to. Sup cool, super heat and both the high and the low side all on the same page. On top of that you can record the data for a little timeline if you want.
Not sure what this app was like before, but I’d say any of the complaints that you read like I have are now inaccurate and haven’t been updated.

Skepticism Put To Rest

No IpadOS version
I have to use erd parties software to be able to use Navac instruments with my Ipad. Please add Ipad version in a future.
Connected tools without the micro fees!
Finally, an app that lets you send reports without a paywall! The addition of Superheat and Subcool is a game changer. Early issues seem to be fixed, and their tech support is top-notch if you do run into a snag. Highly recommend for any tech using NAVAC tools.

Very easy to navigate. Everything connected quickly and the info was accurate.

Great product, great software design and feel. It just disconnects during record making, and sometimes doesn’t record numbers in charts generated.
No Delta T
The probes are nice. The app is lacking. I can both the supply and return air probes, but the app can’t tell me the delta T?!?!

Upgrade this app please!
I’ve been using this app with my new probe set, and I’m really disappointed. I keep waiting for an upgrade, but nothing has come yet!
probe and clamp kit
works good just the superheat and sub cooling values are backwards i had my high side clamp on liquid line and h.p. probe on the liquid line and it said s.h. but ik it’s sub cool and i have never seen high side on the left and low side on the right

The app doesn’t display subcooling or superheat values, and it doesn’t allow you to view both the low and high side pressures on a single screen.
Badly Needs An Upgrade
Paid $430 for the smart probes and this app nor the probes will display SuperHeat or Subcooling. In addition you cannot see the temp probes and the gauges at the same time. You have to select one tool at a time and then manually switch back and forth. I wouldn’t have released this product until these bugs were solved. I’m returning my probes and going somewhere else. I’d suggest the same if you like efficiency. Good Luck. Btw they don’t display together in MeasureQuick app either.
