This update brings major improvements to Groups, Friends, and Messaging across MyNORSU Social. • Groups are now more activity-focused, making it easier to see what’s happening in your communities. • Group pages have been upgraded with improved discussions, member search, media browsing, pinned posts, and better navigation. • Large groups now load posts and members more efficiently for smoother performance. • Group media now loads only when needed and is easier to browse. • Friends has a refreshed design with improved Requests, Friends, and Discover sections. • Friend requests, search, blocked-user handling, and large friend lists have been improved. • Messaging has been upgraded with better conversation filters, timestamps, mute controls, and conversation management. • Message threads now handle older messages more smoothly and keep your position when new messages arrive. • Messages are no longer marked as read simply because they arrive while you are viewing older messages. • Muted conversations now properly suppress message notifications while still allowing messages to arrive normally. • Message replies, reactions, attachments, and media interactions have been refined. • Ads on social pages have been repositioned to keep content and conversations easier to reach. • Numerous performance, reliability, realtime, and scalability improvements have been made throughout the social experience. Plus additional bug fixes and interface refinements across the app.
