Worse than old app

Wants to mix songs and ebooks and audio in with the hardcovers and paperback. Filter use is confusing. Designed by kids not adult readers

I am so FRUSTRATED!

The app said I have an overdue book but I returned it TWO YEARS
AGO! This is so frustrating! And now I am probably going to have to pay a fine for the book that I already returned all because an error on the website!

Buttons No Longer Function

I try to place a hold and the button doesn’t respond. It takes forever to load. Bring back the old app. It worked just fine.

Functions fine, needs kids accounts option

This app is fine for what it needs to be, but PLEASE add the ability to add multiple accounts onto one app log-in (ie for my kids accounts to be added to mine).

Waiting on an update

How many bad reviews will it take before this app gets updated to allow to link kids accounts? I need the ability to have all of our accounts in one place rather than logging out and back in for each child! Please fix!!! I have heard so many complaints in person as well as all the awful reviews on here. The librarians have even mentioned it to me. If only we knew if an update was on its way…

Nice

Helpful app, easy to hold and extend books.

Filters in Spanish??

When I search for anything under discover all the filters are automatically in Spanish with no way to change the language. I’m all for making things accessible for everyone but this goes for all.

Unable to add multiple accounts

This new app does not carry forward the very basic feature that every family with kids need- ability to have multiple library cards show up in one account

A Downgrade, ripped off taxpayers and never once thought about library patrons

A total downgrade from the old app. Whoever made this for OC took our taxpayer money and ran! Clearly never thought about the user. The new app loses SO MUCH functionality. You can’t link other cards for your family. You can’t place multiple holds without heavy navigation. YOU CAN’T EVEN NARROW YOUR SEARCH TO YOUR LOCAL BRANCH! Shocking how bad it is. Thanks for nothing! Bring back the old app!

Some improvement

I think some aspects of the app have improved, like the discover page and the library links to maps. However the Availability page is slow and bulky. I much preferred the simple drop down chart on the previous app.

Would not work

Horrible. Went to create an account. Would not load. Tried numerous times. Is this the state of our state?

Please bring back old app!

This new app is basically useless to me since I can’t link my children’s account. I also miss being able to see the status of all my holds on one screen. I now need to go into each hold to see when I can expect it. Placing holds for different volumes of one book collection is also more complicated now. Please bring back the old one or update this one so we can link several accounts!

REVERT TO OLD VERSION

this app is so inconvenient! i dislike that we can’t have multiple cards on 1 account. I don’t feel that it is user friendly and preferred the previous version.

Horrible app

This new app is horrible they need to improve ASP!!! One of the things I don’t like it is I could not link my child account to my

Weird Home Screen message

Not sure why but the Home screen says Welcome to Tustin Library when I don’t live in Tustin and never use that library?? And does not seem to be a setting that I can change. Other than that seems ok.

Need to link kids accounts

The app looks nice but it’s not helpful for me if I can’t link my kids accounts like I could on the old app. I need to be able to see all of our checkouts and holds in one place and access their barcodes and mine without logging us in each time - that defeats the purpose because then I need their number anyway.

Also can no longer see how many times a checked out book has been renewed so I know if we will reach the limit on the next renewal. I use this to plan ahead and loved having that in the app.

Super disappointed that the old app just won’t function now and we are forced to use this one.

Need to link to kids accounts

I don’t like this app as much as the old one. The biggest reason is I can’t link my kids’ accounts with mine. Also, you have to tap into each book to see how far down the hold list you are. In the old app, that information was readily available. Go back to the old app please!

Old version was better

The old version app is no longer working, was forced to download and use this new app. But it’s lacking lots of features comparing to the old version. Need to be able to link family accounts, and putting on hold for a book isn’t as smooth as the old one.

So much worse

Much worse than the old app, hate that you can’t add multiple accounts.

Can’t link family acct.

Good for a single person, but not good for families. I can’t manage my kids’ accounts. This version is very unhelpful — I prefer the old one.
